When I saw the title I expected something nice. I was surprised by the results. Personally, I would have made a darker background and actually made rain instead of snow. I'm not much in the mood to c/c right now but I'll leave you with that. Also, making rain is so simple it's rediculous. I rarely touch GIMP (yeah, the poor mans PS) and I can make rain.

Bad advice.. If he takes up skateboarding he's just a poser. And it seems to me jocks get more girls than skaters since skaters tend to fall into the who emo scene. (No, we're not starting an emo bashing session here.). Most preppy girls are hot, it's harder to find an emo girl that's hot. If he wants to go skater, I'll support him just so long as he isn't just becoming a poser. Though he'd better not become emo all of a sudden. I'm in need of a new mp3 players and I'm loving this one.. I'd be all over this if they'd release something smaller. 30GB is far more than I need (I only have ~2GB of music + ~1GB of video), and I don't exactly have $250 to spend on it. You're also susposed to get good grades. Say's who buddy? I don't see a law that says I have to get good grades? :roll: Then who says you're supposed to have fun, hang out with friends, party etc? I don't see a law that says you have to do that. The question is, who decides what you're supposed to do? Answer? You may think it's you, but you'll find out in a couple years that if you try and fight society and do whatever you want to do, you're going to get bit. Hard. I call first swing! jk Yeah, yatm (<-I'm calling you yatm from now on) you'll soon find out that a relaxed view on life can be good, but if you let it go too far you'll end up in a rut. Maybe things will fall in place for you, but don't count on it. Really, get your grades up. It's not that difficult. I don't hardly try in school and I get C's and B's. I spend a half an hour each night on homework unless I feel a conversation I'm having with a friend is more important (deep conversations ftw). I mostly pay attention to my gf when I have class with her. I spend way too much time day dreaming and doodling on papers. And I manage to keep decent grades. I know how you feel though, just a few more years and you can do whatever the hell you want with your life. But for now, you should put at least a little effort into school. Get your grades up to a little better than passing (not D's, mid C's). It's really not hard to maintain a C, and you can pretty much half a* your homework. But hey, if you'd rather slack off all year then you'll be the one spending your sophomore year surrounded by freshies. I took a class with a bunch of freshies.. Not much fun. Trust me. Sorry to lecture you about that, but you seem to need some guidance in your life.

Your freshman year isn't a good year to slack.. You don't want to be one of those sophomores that's stuck in freshy classes.

I've been extremely busy lately so I've had a fairly short temper. Also, the emo bashing doesn't help Once everything calms down in my life I'll be back to my happy self who doesn't give a s* anymore :

Freshman year I got all A's and B's. Now I'm in my sophomore year and I've been slacking lately so mostly B's and C's. Ugh, I've gotta get those back up to help lower insurance on my car and so I don't get yelled at

Practicing doesn't make a sport fun. Sure, it's fun to show off for the opposite sex, but no matter how good you are, it can still be boring as hell. And now all schools have tryouts for teams. In my school some sports have tryouts and others don't, but those that don't only let the best players actually play in games.

My parents used to do this to me (and they still do). My dad is always saying I'm wasting my athletic talents even though I'm planning to do something I love. All my dad wants me to do is practice sports and try to get a college scholorship (and I know I'm not good enough for a scholorship). I finally just stopped playing sports. I mean, I play an occasion game of golf with my dad but I don't play like I did a few years ago (enough to destroy my social life for a decent amount of time). I think you should tell you mom how you feel and whether she wants you to or not, just quit. Turn in your jersey and say screw it. There's no point in doing something you hate if you don't have to. That's like being on Fear Factor (is that even on the air anymore?) and continueing to eat something nasty even after you've lost. There's really no point in doing it.
