Same here. I've heard numerous people complain that violent video games cause our youth to become violent. I've played a lot of violent video games and I don't go around punching, stabbing, or shooting random people. Yeah, I can be violent but you have to do something to me first. I remember when 'Manhunt' was banned in numerous countries. I own the game and I had fun playing it but it didn't make me shoot someone with a nail gun, suffocate them with a plasic bag, or stab with with a shard of glass. I really think our society needs to lighten up on video games. The only way a video game is going to make you kill someone is if you're mentally unstable, but then you shouldn't have access to those if it's known that you're mentally unstable... *end mindless rambling* It might not affect you, but if a little kid got his hands on the game, then there might be trouble. My parents have never been the type to shelter me from the real world. When I was young I had access to violent video games. Hell, if I was sneaky enough I could have found 'adult products' in the basement (that were to be sold via my parents business). But as Anesthesia said, it's the parents job to stop their children from seeing things that could negatively affect them.

Actually I think Pokemon is singular and plural at the same time.. I watched an episode of Pokemon ~a month ago and I'm pretty sure they can talk now, but they still shoot lasers out of the butts

I have to say, today is one day they should lay off advertisements like that. However I don't think they should stop them altogether. Like Nad said, violence is entertainment, whether it be real or a video game. I've been watching horrible movies all day and you can't imagine how many limbs I've seen cut off, and I enjoyed watching those movies. I enjoy playing FPS games once in a while and I'll admit, I find it funny when others get hurt. Basically, I think today they should lay off the ads but it's also part of our lives..

No matter how horrible the NES graphics are, I will always love the game : I actually don't remember any of the GBA games. I hardly ever played mine but my DS got a lot of use :P

I think that's totally fair. From my experience of being around females, they seem to be more easily upset (emotionally) than males. In two years I have to sign up for the draft. If I'm drafted, I don't want to be hiding the the brush somewhere (waiting for the enemy) and have a woman next to me, whom was also drafted, crying hysterically because she doesn't want to be there or have to kill another person. Though I will say, there are some males who are easily upset (emotionally) but I think the way our society is, males tend to bottle up those emotions more than females and so it's more likely that you'll find a female crying about having to leave her family than a male.

I hate to say but that's not even good.. 1. The render has a horrible quality 2. The background.. Is a blue circle put through a bunch of filters 3. The text is pretty bad 4. You're going to have to resize that to use it...

Yeah, now that's the spirit for starting a weekend. 8-) Also, nobody has ever even attempted to break into anybody's house in our neighbourhood, so I don't really care about shutting my windows even if it's 2.am and pitch dark. The only lame thing is that I was just watching 'The Grudge' with my friend (not on the computer, a plasma), and being the sissy he is, he said "shouldn't we watch this when it's like.. Less dark". How about no, that would ruin the movie :lol: He almost p* his pants. Ok, maybe not but I just wrote that because he sees what I type and now I'll hit submit and there's nothing he can do agsdg43bout itygdssd HAHAHA! I was home alone a couple of weeks ago and my 2 of my neighbors came over to watch 'The Grudge' with me. So, being the scary movie fan I am (and nothing seems to scare me) I turned off all the lights, closed of the doors that let lights in from other rooms, and turn the volume way up. About 1/4 of the way through the movie my two neighbors got scared and I had to walk them home (they were girls, I didn't mind). So then I came home and watched the rest of it alone :XD: It really wasn't very scary, just jumpy.. I don't care about losing personal possesions but if someone breaks into my house, there's no way they're leaving without the thought of never coming back. I'll tell you this, I might looks small but I'm really not. I would take on a full grown man whether I had a knife (trust me, there's plenty of these in my house), a gun, or just my fists. Only a few people know how violent I can actually get when I'm mad.

I love being home alone : I like to watch scary movies in the dark, sneak a little liquor, and sleep where ever the hell I want. When I was younger I was scared to be home alone but I've gotten much bigger and in my house you can almost always find a wepon incase someone is dumb enough to break in. Like lawrence said, just lock up the doors/windows. Personally, I like having them unlocked and wide open but seeing as how you're scared, you should probably make sure they're closed.

I can't even bring myself to playfully hit a girl.. On topic.. I believe men and women should have equal rights. Of course men and women can't be equal physically, but we can't change that.

And appearently you've only listened to 'Welcome To The Black Parade' because some of the songs on the album, 'The Black Parade', are pretty depressing. 'Mama' is about how we all die and are all going to hell. 'Cancer' is about dieing from cancer (you probably could have figured that out on your own :P).

I'm sorry to break this to you, but sometimes, people just want to sit down and relax. I know, shocking. True, but I've taken notice of people around me and I never took anyone too seriously when they said a lot of people in America were obese until I actually looked for myself. Now I refuse to become part of the obese America and I think others should strive to increase their physical fitness rather than just working in their hand-eye coordination.

Thank you.. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way. Though in defense of DDR, it keeps you in shape if you play on standard/heavy mode. Maybe decent shape if you play on light.. While there are more "worthwhile" things to spend it on, people should spend money on luxuries for themselves once in a while. True, but there are luxuries that actually keep you active instead of sitting around and playing a video game.
