This mostly pertains to Off Topic and Music & Movies. Basically, whenever someone says 'emo' there's suddenly an uprising and it turns into everyone vs me (the only guy who's willing to defend emos). Basically, I think there should be a rule against emo bashing since it's results in topics getting locked. Also, a rule against antagonizing to emo haters.

I'm usually one of the nicest guys you'll meet, but when people start taking shots at my kind of people, I'll be an a*. How about this, all the emo haters can go live in their own country. Wow, didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out there's an opposite that would work much more easily, did it? Emo isn't a race.. you can't really call them "your people". ..just saying. Not saying it as though it's a race, just saying it as a group.

If he wants to keep being intolerant then we'll take it to PMs. If he'd rather shut his intolerant mouth and let others live their lives, we'll be just fine. You're right.. I'm done argueing..

We do it to try to show who we are but in reality we're just classified as part of that group and not as the individual we want to be seen as. We have to separate ourselves. Because of you Emo queers there is no future. Its better so we can blame it on you since it will be your fault. How will "our future" be messed up because of "Emo Queers"? I see it as just a trend and people will grow out of it as they get older. Sure, depression is striking more and more people in society but it's not something you should attack them for. Wow.. It's kind of hard to calm down to talk to you after talking t cyco.. I'd really like to know why everything thinks it's funny to pick on the depressed guy. I mean c'mon, I've seen teenagers kill themselves because of a*holes like cyco. Not even kidding, when I was in 6th grade one student committed suicide and another attempted but failed and was in critical condition for some time. Yes, I've cut myself (no, not my wrists) and it was due to my depression. Yes, I listen to Hawthorne Hights. No, I don't cry. I haven't let a tear out in years. It's almost become an inability. Don't worry. We all fight when it comes to music (and emo ) but we'll find common ground elsewhere.

You have the wrong opinion on both of those. Rap has turned into guys singing about how many girls they bang, how nice their cars are, and the jewelry they can afford. Rock on the other hand isn't about long hair anymore. Sure, some singers still have long hair but who gives a s*? And you say emo/goth like it's a bad thing. I wouldn't bad mouth emos when I'm around. I'm emo and I'll stand up for all of us whether you like it or not. I prefer rock over rap. Actually, I prefer emo music but appearently we're not going into sub-genres. I don't care to hear about fancy cars, lots of diamonds, and grills.

exactly... why should i give them my money when their too lazy to get a job and all they spend it on is ciggerettes, pot crack and booze I hear a lot of people say homeless people should go get a job. Well let's think about this. When you go in for a job interview you always make you sure dress to impress. Well a homless person can't afford nice clothes. So he's going to walk into the interview in the clothes he wears every day and on top of that he might not have showered in a long time. Who wants to buy food from a guy who smells like their trash can? And how is the company even supposed to contact a homeless person since they don't have a phone? Just a little something to think about before you say homeless people should go gets jobs..

Where I live you won't see homeless people unless you go downtown. I don't often go downtown nor do I see but a few homeless people while I'm there and they're not begging, they're picking up empty cans for money. I've never given money to the homeless, though I suppose I would if I saw them more than a few times a year. I'd rather them use my money to go buy alcohol/drugs than end up robbing a store or mugging an innocent person to support their addiction.

Sometimes I can eat in the mornings and sometimes I can't. When I have something going on in the morning eating just makes me sick but one weekends I have no problems eating in the mornings. I don't know why though..

My neighbors are like sisters to me so they just wander in when they feel like it :P I've actually been hanging out with them a lot more than usual lately :-k I used to have 100% privacy a few years ago, but I kind of like giving up some privacy to have people feel comfortable around me.

I'll second that. During my freshman year I used to play my DS during study hall. I don't think I ever lost a race in Mario Kart unless I felt sorry for someone.. :-w
