Ah, it's so much harder when you're younger. Though I suppose in the eyes of many I'm still young (16) but I've put aside my idea of choosing girls strictly on appearance. I like my gf now because she makes me be more outgoing and feel good about myself (though I must admit she's a beauty). Like xvxvx said, just start flirting with her a little and she might get the hint. If you don't know how to flirt, you can google it and there are some decent bits about how flirting works.

I don't remember if I told you earlier or not but I don't suggest talking to them online. Everyone seems to have their own unique personality when you talk to them but when they're online they seem to change. I don't talk to my gf online because of that. Instead we talk on the phone (as you know she calls me all the time :P ). So instead of chatting with her on AIM, call her. If she doesn't want to talk on the phone, show up at her door. But online seems to be the worst way to talk to bf/gf's. When I talk to my gf online she doesn't come off the most intelligent because she's not a very good speller, but in real life she's quite smart. And I come off as a total a*, but in real life I'm really nice and try not to say anything to upset anyone.

Physical appearence means nothing if she likes you as more than a friend. I say you should take the chance and ask her out. You'll feel better if you know whether she likes you or not rather than looking back on this in 10 years and wondering if you could have had an amazing relationship. And since she's your friend then you must know what she likes/dislikes and that would make dating much easier on the both of you. If she doesn't like you as more than a friend at the moment just remember that time changes things and there are plenty of other girls out there. Also, from personal experience, I don't recommend using a note to tell her how you feel. Go for it and good luck! :thumbsup:

It's been in the 40's (Farenheit) here the past few days and I'm not the kind of person you often see wear a coat. Also, I'm 16 (and get my drivers license in about a month).

Then I guess I let a lot of workers down.. I walked (well, marched) through one haunted house smiling and humming a little tune. One guy jumped out of a secret passage with a chainsaw and didn't even bother to go after me. He went after my friend who ended up cowering in a corner :XD: I had to laugh at him for that :-w

Where I live ice skating is $4 per person on weekdays but it's $7.50 per person on weekends.. And I usually pay for my gf when we go out, so yeah, everything costs at least $8. My parents don't mind paying $8 for us to go out for the night, but it costs a lot more when we go to haunted houses, movies, etc.

This is possibly the worst thing you could say with someone like me around.. If you can't stand up for yourself, leave the girl alone. I'm prepared to defend myself/my gf if anyone harasses me/my gf. If you bring your friends into a fight, you show weakness.. Girls don't like weak guys.. I might sound like an a* here, but oh well.

So me and my gf (and a few friends) and have going out every night this weekend (4 day weekend for our school) and spending money on haunted houses and ice skating. But we haven't been spending my money, we've been spending my parents money and they're tired of it. They won't let me get a job until January but then they won't give me money to go do things either. They always pushed me to go out with friends and when I finally start to they won't help me out where I need it most. So here's my little problem.. I need to find things to do that won't cost money (or much money). I live in Iowa so it's getting cold here and we can't really go outside anymore. So does anyone have any ideas of things we could do? Thanks!

I went to a couple of haunted houses the other day and my gf wants me to go to another tonight. They're fun but I don't get scared. My gf is scared to death by them but she has fun. I love when they just out and me (my friends make me lead) and when I just look at them they go after one of my friends. I like how my friends think I'm fearless : Also, at one of the haunted houses I went to, I was leading and one of the workers jumped out right in front of me. I had my hands up to feel my way through the dark and my first reaction was to punch him.. Luckily I stopped myself :-$ :-w

No, I'm shy. But I go out and do things with my gf just to show I care. I don't think when you're in a relationship you should hide from the one you care about, but instead go out and have fun with them. I could understand if they had only known each other for short while but they've known each other for a year and a half. I've known my gf for 2 months. Oh and Fad.. :-$ Keep that story quiet :wink:

Ice skating is fun ^_^ I actually went for my first time on Thursday night with my gf. She knows how to skate and wasn't expecting me to be very good (I only fell once ;)). And you're right about spending time together. I can spend time with my gf doing nothing at all and enjoy it (not even joking, I've done it before). I guess if she doesn't want to do things together (and you do) then you might not have the right girl for you. Me and my gf hang out almost every day (she just called a few minutes ago and we might hang out in a bit). I suppose if you get other girls interested in you then she might get jealous and want to do more with you instead of being apart all the time. I'm not going to do into the reasons why she might not want to be with you (you might get paranoid..) PS.. Sorry I didn't respond on AIM earlier. I haven't really been paying attention to it today (mostly just watching tv..)

Nascar is really boring (to me). Though every time I see someone watching it, I'm reminded of a comedian I saw on Comedy Central once. He had a bunch of jokes about how Nascar fans love the sport because it's easy to follow when you're wasted. "They're makin' a left turn! They're makin' a left turn!"

Hah! Good thing I'm not horrible at it. I own DDRMAX2 (for PS2) and I play it a ton.. I have the crappy pads for it but I ordered some nicer ones ;) And I also attend the DDR Club at my school :P So much fun! :
