If you had said that to me 6 months ago I would have been like 'ok, I'll give it a shot' but I've quit video games to get myself in shape and get my life going on the right track.. (trust me, my life was f*ed up for a while). I suppose if I ever get back into gaming I'll install it and try it out.

As time went on Congress relised that they could give themselves raises (which I think is completely wrong). So now they seem to figure 'screw the poor people, I'm rich!'

Where I live taxes are expected to go up and from what I've figured there's no possible way to live off of a min wage job.. Even working 2 min wage jobs for 40 hrs a week (each) every week of the year only gets you up to about $21,000 before takes are taken out... I think something needs to be done about congress raising their wages, while our own people are out there working their a**es to live in a rundown house, drive a crappy car, and have a very limited food budget..

Heh, I'd do the same thing.. My bro is 12 and I'm 15, and he's starting to think he can take me on (physically). So when he starts something I just grab him by the throat and I don't let go till his face is dark red, then when I let go he spends the next few minutes coughing and sputtering.. Then we usually repeat the process a few minutes later (does he honestly think the whole 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' applies to me choking him?) And parents, don't let you children get away with s*. Beat them. When I was young a spanking with a belt wasn't uncommon.. And at that time there's no way I would talk back to anyone older than me..

Ok, so summer vacation 2006 is winding down.. For me It's only a few weeks till I'm back in school, and I've been thinking about all the good times I've had this summer.. So... What was your best day of summer vacation 2006? Mine was August 5th.. I went to Adventure Land (you probably know what that is if you live in Iowa.. If not it's a theme park) with my family and two of my neighbors. Usually I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters, but I had spent the whole car ride there flirting with one of my neighbors (who I like) so I ended up going on tons of rollercoasters (and others rides I usualyl wouldn't have gone on) but all in all it was definitly the best day of my summer.

2 girls asked me out when I was 13-14.. I said no to both because one was the stalker type.. She called so much, I stopped answering the phone.. And I wasn't attracted to the other (I don't like the red hair, extremely pale skin, and freckles thing.. Creeps me out and reminds me of that South Park episode with the 'gingers')

Jocks being nice to geeks?!?!!??!?! Happens all the time in my school. In the halls you can't really see any cliques because everyone tends to have friends in many cliques. But in the lunchroom you can usually see cliques.. Damn that lunchroom.. Jocks can be pretty good people, but some can be total *holes (although they're usually pretty hard on freshman). Lucky for me, I get along with almost everyone \

I think Hollywood needs to give things time before they go and make a movie about it. Something huge happens and then Hollywood suddenly wants to make a movie about it. Do we honestly need a bunch of movies about a terrorist attack on America? I feel that at least one was appropriate, but if you watch the Discovery chanel they have some good programs about 9/11. I think Hollywood needs to stay away from things like this. I didn't lose anyone close to me in 9/11 but how would you feel if you lost a close relative in 9/11 and then they decided to make a movie about how your family member died? Personally I would hate to have to relive that..

I hate when people type with abbreviations.. It's really annoying as is typing with numbers. I find I can type at least 3x as fast if I type everything as it should be. 4nd n0t lyk3 d15.

In my eyes all sin the the same, meaningless. I have never lived my life by a religous set of rules and I never will. I've attended church once in my life, and I can honestly say from the way I understood what was said there's no reason to worry about sins. I was told 'If you forgive your neighbors, the Lord will forgive you.' I understood that as if you forgive others for their sins, then god will forgive you for your own sins. Also I do not fully believe in god mostly because his existence cannot yet be proven and until it is, I will continue my belief in many religions.

Thief, I think you may be looking at 'emos' and 'goths' with a stereotypical view. The majority of them are neither depressed nor do they cut themselves. People who cut themselves are people who are depressed, and anyone can be depressed. Like Anesthesia said, they're dressing and such like they do mostly for attention, not because they follow the stereotype. As far as people not making threads about the negetive effects of rap.. Well rap has become huge, and I think people don't want to see the bad parts of it. People have their own views on things and when they like something enough, they don't tend to see how it harms the community. I do, however, think that there should be a thread about the negetive effeects of rap on the community. I will say I do enjoy certain rap songs but they're not too bad (as far as lyrics go).

That's quite true (as far as I believe) and I feel the same way about the slim chance that there might be a god. Although I don't see the point in commiting myself to a religion to ensure myself a place in heaven, because I'd gladly live my life as I please and rot in the depths of hell for it. And I suppose it is hard to comprehend the whole not being alive thing, although I've gotten used to the fact that every moment we live we come a moment closer to death.. I guess the best way to describe death is once your brain shuts down all that is left of you is a corpse.. You don't have a soul that is flying around and angels aren't coming to get you. You're dead, nothing more.. Although I still hold my belief in reincaration, although you never remember your past lives.

My opinion on this is they're people just like us. They might dress differently but that's it. I'm not 'emo' but I love 'emo' music (in fact I currently have a My Chemical Romance background on my desktop). I have actually gotten to know a few of the 'goths'/'emos' at my school and they're pretty cool, and I have a lot of fun when I'm with them (not saying I don't have fun with my other friends). I think people everywhere need to stop stereotyping everyone. I don't even know what catagory I'd fall under since I get fairly good grades, love 'emo' music, I'm good at sports, play MMORPG's.. Well you get the point.. 'Emo'/'goth' is just a label put on people because of the way they dress, not how they act, what music they listen to, and they're not all depressed and don't think about suicide.

I'm not really that way.. I can talk to an attractive girl as well as I can talk to a less attractive girl. The ones I have a little trouble with are the ones I'd like to have a relationship with.. Then I always feel if I say something wrong/stupid I could * up my chances of a relationship..
