What is your view on wealth?
I pretty much have to agree with this. Anyways my family used to be fairly wealthy. Our business was doing very well so even after I wrecked my 2000 Firebird (which my parents paid for up front) they still got me a 2008 Eclipse (though it's not paid off). I used to get $500 worth of clothes for my birthday or basically whatever I wanted as long as I didn't just take it all for granted. Now my family is filing bankruptcy and we're losing our house, vehicles, etc. I'm finding it difficult to scrape together the money for a pack of cigarettes here and there and my family is really limited to what we buy atm. So I've seen the high points and the lower points of wealth. If I may ask, what business was your family in? Lingerie/sex toy sales. Let's just say, the demand is WAY down for those types of products these days. They also ran multiple sites and my dad did web design/search engine optimization as well.

Street Racing
... Have you ever actually driven a car? And no, your 12 hours of experience in Mario Kart don't count. Haha no kidding.

Are you a cat or a dog person?
Only ever had dogs around my house. I like both cats and dogs, but I don't really plan on having either once I move out.

Street Racing
Ever considered saying more than a single word? OT: I've never really raced but I've played around with friends on highways and some guy in a Charger wanted to race once (I have a 2008 Eclipse -all stock-). I kinda took him up on it but I was in an automatic while he had a manual transmission and shifted well. The area we raced in was a 35mph zone and we got to around 60ish or so before I dipped out. Too much traffic for the cops to hide in when we did it plus I've already lost my license once :? . The adrenaline rush of the take off and trying to stay ahead is amazing though A few of my thoughts about problems with racing: Legality: I've already done plenty of things that could land me in jail. Pedestrian safety: Avoid racing in areas with high amounts of foot traffic. Personal safety: If you can't drive very well, don't even think about racing. If you're willing to risk your life for some fun, have fun ;) Other vehicle safety: Again, find an area with little to no traffic. A good time to race is late at night due to low traffic and it's easy to see if a vehicle is coming (easy to spot police).

Google releases Google Chrome
I'm thinking about trying it out. I've never really cared for anything but IE because I don't have any real use for all the addons and such. Edit: Installed Google Chrome and I like it so far. Load times are quick and I like how there's basically nothing but basics (even less than IE).

Anyone else starting to think OP is the kind of kid who wears a black tench coat to school and writes bomb threats on bathroom walls? :-k

Talented Tip.iters!!!
Do you want a cookie? No, don't even tempt him with false hopes of a cookie. Playing Runescape is in no way a talent. I didn't say it was a talent I said I had quit it because of all my other activities, you sound like the average Runescape Official Forumer. Haha, then you know nothing about me :shame:

Working out topic
I think we're all shallow to a point, though we don't like to admit it. Also.. Started a small workout today. Sparred with my brother, his friend, and my dad for a total of nearly an hour today (almost non-stop). I felt amazing after it but I've got some nasty blisters on my toes so this might be difficult. I'd rather spar for an hour than run for 30 minutes..

Subconcsious: Actions of Attraction.
While I do like this topic, did you really have to bump it just to brag about knowing what we're talking about? I could brag about my knowledge of body language or how I've known things like this for years, but I wouldn't bump a topic from the second page to do so.

Chain Letters
I hate chain letters. Though I do always send on the "send this to x amount of friends and we'll have a snow day tomorrow". I know it doesn't work but it gets my hopes up :P

ready for school for those people that have school on sept.2
Same here. Heading into the 3rd week now and I gotta leave in a few minutes if I want a parking space. I'm really not liking school at all this year. I figured I was signing up for easy classes (senior year) but they're all turning out to be boring as [cabbage] and I could teach my computers class :ugeek:

Eh, workouts are rarely fun for me. The only fun workouts are the ones where I spar with my master for an hour. That's some serious cardio there. Plus I planning on running a decent bit. I just want to get to the point where I can run 2 or 3 miles without wanting to die. Yeah, I'm going to get some protein powder and use it (no matter how disgusting it is). Almost threw up the first time I had a protein shake

I experimented a bit with it back when I lifted a lot. I noticed that combined with good amounts of protein I was bulking up nicely. I'm going to start lifting again soon and I'm planning on giving creatine another shot. I personally think steroids are for wimps whether they be teenagers or adults. If you can't put in the time and effort, why should you have the muscle?

I suggest you stop posting for a few days, take a good hard look at your life, and maybe make a few changes. You're coming off as a total douche and I doubt that's how you want to be remembered around here.

Lowering of the drinking age to 18
I completely see your logic behind that, but as we all know alcohol prohibition failed miserably. The gov't only managed to catch and destroy about 5% of the illegal alcohol in America. At the same time, you can see marijuana prohibition is failing miserably in America as well. Prohibition just doesn't work. It's easier to keep it legal, tax the hell out of it, and try to regulate it. At least this way the gov't is bringing in some money on it rather than making it illegal and rasing our taxes to pay for their debts. Also, prohibition will result in high priced, low quality liqour. The people making it will be more interested in profits than quality (just as it happened before). I would personally rather have high quality liqour at decent prices than to pay out the [wagon] for some nasty stuff.

Lowering of the drinking age to 18
Eh, drinking/drugs start around 8th grade in my area. And I live in an upper middle class/wealthy area. I don't really think kids under 13 will start drinking all of a sudden because of a lowered drinking age. I think it will mostly be high school kids continueing to drink, but it will be just a little bit easier to get the alcohol. No more "hey misters" or any of that since most kids know a few seniors who could get them alcohol. @bballer: I agree with what you're saying. I know a lot of kids who go get wasted just because they know it's illegal and they're not supposed to. (I found out a few days ago) A study showed that our generation is more likely than previous generations to try to be unlike our parents. So, parents who don't drink/smoke are more likely to end up having their kids drink/smoke. My parents don't drink/smoke, but I do. I have a friend who's parents drink/smoke, but he doesn't (except when we go to Cancun, then he still wants to be responsible about it so I told him not to let me die).

Eh, I've had cheap vodka and I wouldn't say it's tasteless. Ever smelled a bottle of rubbing alcohol and you could almost taste it? Well I've had Hawkeye vodka and it smells like rubbing alcohol and can't taste any better than what I imagine rubbing alcohol would taste like. Don't get me wrong, I love vodka, just not the cheap stuff. They already do that :?

Anyone who doesn't know this is an idiot. I'm the same way with girls. Looks count for something, but I like a girl with a great personality better than the hottest girl around because the girl I choose is going to be the hottest in my eyes.

Currently Reading
Poking in and out of a book I found called "365 Zen - Daily Readings". It has lots of interesting little readings that really provoke thought. Not a sit down and read it all in a day type of book though.

Lowering of the drinking age to 18
Actually, by that logic it would be best to try alcohol prohibition again which well all know will fail miserably. The way I see it, if people are going to drink and drive then they're going to do it whether they're 16 or 50. Any alochol charge (underage posession, underage consumption, public intoxication, etc) you get tacked onto that DUI doesn't mean [cabbage]. You might have to pay a little more for your fines, but it's not going to be anything more than a slap on the wrist because you'll already be looking at substance abuse classes for the DUI along with the loss of your drivers license.

Blue belts as in a high rank? I was at a tournament yesterday and I'm an orange belt (low rank) and there was a blue belt I had to spar against. Judges didn't call a lot of my points so I ended up in second against the blue belt.

I consider it showing what the human body is capable of. While I don't find it attractive either, I think it's absolutely amazing and not a waste of time at all.
