If you want to mage metal dragons, you need anti-fire potions, and an anti-fire shield. Just stand 2-3 squares away from the dragon so he only hits you with fire breath (which will hit 0's with the shield and potion) Use fire bolt (with the gauntlets the from the quest "Family Crest") Bring your best mage bonus you can get Your inventory should look like this Tab (incase) 2k, for the boat + entrance fee to get in the cave Runes 10 Anti-fire potions 5 Shark (bring less when you feel more comfortable) An axe

It would cost less than it would normally be with straight up oak planks.

Your defense is pretty low, but you could do it. It's a good idea to raise your summoning too, at 52 you can use a spirit terrorbird which holds 12 items. You wouldn't last very long without guthans (SGS works too), summoning, and your defense level.

Sure you could do it with those stats, but it's really unlikely unless you know what you're doing
