Goac
Well I feel that just about every movie I like deserves a sequel with several exceptions such as one of a kind movies like Pulp Fiction, The Usual Suspects or Borat. However the movies that I feel need a sequel are: Star Wars-some of the Expanded Universe novels would translate perfectly into sequel movies, Indiana Jones could always use a good sequel or prequel, Austin Powers demands a sequel and finally I think Scarface could use either a prequel or a sequel-(even though the recent videogame covered the aftermath in which Tony Montana survives the shootout at his mansion) Anyways that's all I can think of right now. :) ~Goac
____
Indiana Jones could always use a good sequel or prequelIndiana Jones had a prequel. It's at the start of The Last Crusade. I don't know what else you want; because anything else would just be another movie. And the Young Indiana Jones movies fill in the gaps between then and when he's an adult. blushenka
The X Files 2 needs to be made, and fast. Already it's been almost 9 years since the first movie was made. I'm getting old here waiting for it :( "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. I read an interview in Empire magazine about that... apparently Sean Connery said he'd only do it if CGI was used to convince everyone that he was old enough to be Harisson Ford's father lol! Pretty sure he was joking, but you never know. Harisson Ford is getting a little long in the tooth for action flicks like that.
pfilc23
I always hoped for a sequel to Unbreakable. I really thought that was a fantastic movie. Wouldn't necessarily have to have Jackson and Willis, but I think it would have to have at least one of them (i.e. with new "villian" or "hero"). Unfortunately, Shyamalan doesn't strike me as sequel kind of writer/director.

But like you said, doesn't seem like the kind of guy to do sequels. Lady in the Water, Sixth Sense, and Signs don't really have sequel potential though. The last two seasons were a disgrace (of course that has much to do with David Duchovny leaving the show); but actually it just got progressively worse after the move to LA, in the 6th season. So if you watched up to season 4 inclusively, you haven't really missed much. There were some outstanding episodes after that too, but not many. . Oh and the movie was made after season 4, but presumbaly you know this. "Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to a second movie though

You could follow his mad search for his 'superhero'. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
