echogod
As most of us have heard in the news, the issue of global warming and climate change has quickly become an important topic on many political agendas. There are many sites on the internet that showcase information about global warming, however many of them may be hard to surf or even esoteric at times. I have created an easily navigated, multimedia-filled and educational website for in-depth information about global warming. Please take some time and visit and educate yourself on this rapidly evolving topic. http://www.GlobalClimax.com Any comments or feedback would be appreciated. P.S: I deeply apologize if this is not the correct place for this post.

echogod
Oh sorry, I didn't see that. But again, it is always nice to have multiple sources.
assassin_696
It's a nice website, clear and easy to read information. Sadly though, the science behind it is less accurate than you might think. Mercifull
Prime example on how the Advertise your thing here - all posted elsewhere = removed is a failure as a rule. This website has been properly designed with a proper host and a domain name. The content has been written and it is well sourced (albeit still lacking alternate arguments). This website deserves it own thread for discussion, it is not a "cookie cutter" clan forum using a free host. Looks good, ill try giving it a proper read a bit later. :) Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Flametrooper
Global warming or not, three things are obvious: A) Helping the environment is obviously always a good thing. Most people are too lazy, though, or else want to make a profit from exploiting it - thus, they argue against this. B) Environmental issues completely aside, the U.S. needs to start looking into alternative energy sources, such as hydrogen fuel cell or plasma gasification, more. This could have great economic benifits, as well as foreign-relations (I.E. not needing to fight wars in the Middle East over oil or buy oil from there) C) Hydrogen fuel cell cars and similar environmental technologies are just cool, for one thing. The new protoptyes now coming out have some of the quietest, least-polluting, easiest to drive and run engines around - and perform well too. (The creation of cheap useable hydrogen could well be a problem, though.)
dierienow
First it was Global Cooling in the '70's and now it's "Global Warming"? The only "Global Warming" happening is occuring in the vicinity of Al Gore's mouth.

assassin_696
Wow, I split the spam and the topic is reduced to a page. Defender, stop being so bloody patronising, pretending you know what's good for us in your condescending tone. You don't like the way we do things? Then clear off, but don't spam up a perfectly good discussion. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
darkmage099
An interesting little resolution I wrote for a specific type of congress. If you're interested. Whereas: Although global warming is natural to some extent, we are increasing this harmful process by releasing many harmful toxins in the air and Whereas: These toxins produce frequent heat waves, ocean warming, coastal flooding, glacier melting, and Acrtic and Antarctic warming. Many things that are to come include animal and plant population shifts, coral reef bleaching, heavier flooding, drought, and fires. These effects are obviously negative and Whereas: Global warming increases ozone depletion, which exposes humans to harmful UV radiation that causes many diseases such as skin cancer and Whereas: The Kyoto Protocol, signed by over 55 nations, effectively decreases greenhouse gas emissions, therefore Be it resolved by {edit} that the United States of America should ratify the Kyoto protocol, which effectively reduces greenhouse gas emissions. By reducing greenhouse gas emissions, we are saving America from a deadly future where this problem cannot be reversed. By signing the Kyoto protocol that call for a progressive change to reduce our gas emissions, we set a roll model for other to follow suit, and we can push for an even greater reduction of harmful gases. This, in turn, will create an even safer future for our Americans. Respectfully submitted, Yeah, most of it is [cabbage], I know Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
