What should I do to make money?

Featured Replies

I had some pretty good stuff, but died and lost it all. What should i do to make money? Should I mine or cut wood?My mining is 8 and my smithing is 4. My woodcutting is 10. Thanks in advance.

Well, you can't have lost that much, but my suggestion to you is this. Kill chickens at Lumbridge, until you have a decent amount. Sell them to people on the forums, for 7 ea. Pretty quick cash if you put your mind to it.

Well, i didn't lose that much, but i had a lot of money on me(not a lot to you probably, but i had likew 500), and I'm not a member, on these forums?

If you've only really lost 500gp, there is nothing really to complain about. I'll assume your fairly new to this game, so just try a bunch of stuff. Crafting is an amazing way to make money, and start off the game for new comers.

Probably the most profitable skill to this very day is Runecrafting, so I'd suggest learn about that as soon as possible.

u need some explantion i think :D

so ure a member on this forums and ure very much welcome..

im thinking your not a memeber in the game therfore ure free to play (you dont pay for playing)

now as The_Dragon_Reborn - as a begining u can do that method and im sure u will get more then "500"

cou could also kill cows and keep the hides and sell later when u have a decent amount (1000+ o so)

Not a big deal. Chickens can't hit you, so you wont need any armor, or weapons. Just hang out there and kill a couple hundred chickens, get a couple thousand feathers, make a couple thousand gp. Not hard.

This is probably a noob question but what is crafting and how do you do it?

  • Author

Ok, thanks. But for some quick money, what would you recommend?

dont just think about money from the beginning of the RS adventure....

gain some level.. money will arrive automatically - but for a starter - the chicken idea above is good

Okay, thanks.

Assuming your a newcomer, just collect cowhides from killing cows near lumbridge. If all you want is 500 gp back, just collect 5 hides lol. they sell for 100 each. good money for newcomers. Make sure you sell them in the bank in Al Kharid ( The desert near lumbridge where theres a gate) u'll just have to pay 10 coins. If u have trouble finding 10 coins, just look on the floor really lol. 10gp is easy to find

if u need to get ur combat up but dont like it when it takes ages-eg when ur killing something with loads of hitpoints, then go east of lumbridge castle, get training sword and shield then kill the tiny spiders that are level one(not giant spiders) then u should go do the chicken thing.Either that or keep cutting normal logs until u r level 20 then cut oak logs and sell in general store.or another way is to become a member and pickpocket men.

kill 5 cows ftw

Pureprayer, you're awesome.

When i started a new pker account i got fishing and cooking up quick, which did not take long and can sell lobbies, which is a nice little earner so i suggest getting fishing up to lvl 40 and sellin raw lobbies.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
