March 24, 200719 yr Well I have 99 construction, and I really do hate it when people say, "Oh.. 99 construction.. That's one of the easiest skills in the game! :XD: You can just buy your way there!" But 'just buying your way there' is a lot harder than it looks. Not including my breaks, I spent several solid months runecrafting nature runes to earn the 125m necessary for level 99 and then getting the level itself. It took a lot of hard work to get there and I'd like to see the people who say otherwise go earn 125m by themselves and then get the level. I don't like my work to be considered 'so easy' because it wasn't :( It's considered the "easiest" to buy because when you attempt to decide which skills are easiest to buy, you assume an infinite amount of money. Assuming that infinite amount of money, it's quite possible to buy 99 construction in about a day or two. Obviously you've never trained construction before... 10k oak logs from lv50-lv70 took me 5 days playing 3 hours a day. That's 15 hours. It takes 200k oaks to get from 70-99 Lets say every 10k logs equals about 15 hours So basicaly from lv 70-99 that would take roughly about 300 hours and last time I checked there's oly 24 hours in a day. Even if you waste almost twice the money to use mahogany logs it would still take a rough 150-200hours of pure work. So exactly what is your construction level?

Even if they used mahogany logs (which werent widely available yet), they still wouldn't have managed it in under a week. (52 con here, tears of guthix ftw :XD: ) Proud owner of a Quest cape!
March 25, 200719 yr What Ikraz said. It's possible using the most expensive items possible at your level to get 99 construction in probably 1 or 2 days. But hey, whatever floats your boat, being condescending when you're blatantly wrong must be a bit killer for the ego afterwards.
March 25, 200719 yr I think that to buy a skill is OK in P2P, but it's alot better to earn it without money (You could then se the money for buying other things, like rares). To earn money in F2P is not easy, so if you try to get a high skill in F2P you need alot of money. That's why I think that to buy a skill in F2P is much better than to do it in P2P, where you could level much easier without the money needed for leveling in F2P. What I think is buyable skills (of the F2P ones) : Smithing Magic Cooking Firemaking Crafting Prayer Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
March 27, 200719 yr It took a lot of hard work to get there and I'd like to see the people who say otherwise go earn 125m by themselves and then get the level. I have more than 125 mil because I was online when the holiday items were dropped. :-w It doesn't really take that much effort sometimes. So basicaly from lv 70-99 that would take roughly about 300 hours and last time I checked there's oly 24 hours in a day. That's pretty fast to get from 70-99. The Runescape Wilderness - Meili's Blog
