March 21, 200719 yr your going to get a million different answer for this, but from my experience, i like yanille I think the only other possible answer would be the mines outside Piscatoris Fishing colony. Absent the completion of the quest "Swan Song", however, the rocks NE of Yanille are it.

March 21, 200719 yr Maybe you think this is a strange answer, but go to fally, miners guild and mine like 1.5k coal. Sell em and buy your iron! :D Err.. not sure if this is fast. I like Miner's Guild though. No, I really don't play anymore.

March 21, 200719 yr The best spot is the mining field North East of Yanille (see map). There's three rocks right next to each other that are perfect for quick mining. There's also four rocks just north of there if those three are busy If you work hard, you can manage about 700 ores per hour.
