Ever since i got 70 range i've loved the skill, i went from 70 - 85 range at fire giants trying to get my first dragon drop, never came :( when fight caves came out i failed it alot (ended up with at least 80k tokkul so thats at least 19 tries it took me for my first fire cape, i eventually got it after watching itwasdestiny's video to learn how to switch prayers and ever since i've used the same method to recover the capes i've lost (ive had 8 fire capes, i like to use it :P) so this got me to 88 ranged, i started going dagganoth kings with real life friends and got 90 ranged, then i started pest control and got to 94 range before finally getting bored which leaves me here today. The plan is to catch my own chinchompas and use them at monkey madness cave but im not sure how many i would need so im starting out with catching 10k of the furballs. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Part one - Catch 10k chinchompas

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Catching 10k of these critters would get me 85 1/2 hunter and give me an idea of how many more i'd need for 99 range couldnt find a signature for an xp goal but total xp after finishing will be 3,415,109

Not sure how many levels i will get doing this so heres a 99 range bar :P I'll be going to abby demons or dk's to get the money for the potions i will need.

I'll be able to update this after getting the 10k chinchompas to see how bored i am.

But just to give u an idea, i used 5k chinchompas at 94 range and only averaged 172xp per hit at marim dungeon (monkey madness one)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

so you will probly need around 25k+ chinchompas :-#

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would also wear the proper hunter gear, it deffinatly improves your chances of catching chins

chimps are ownage xp, good luck.

 

 

 

and why the reindeer antlers? personally i think theyre the stupidest holiday drop...wear proper hunting clothing, you catch the chimps a lot faster.

well duh! you only use chins when monsters are compacted into one spot and you can hit multiples... You don't use them the whole time.... Use a crystal bow for the first part and when monsters start getting clogged THEN use the chins
