This is a really comprensive guide to think about what to do before pking!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

this guide will help you in:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EQUIPMENT RISKS

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

a) Melee

 

 

 

B) Mage

 

 

 

c) Range

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A) melee

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

helm: generally helm is a zerker (70k) - why not warrior? (50k) "better attack and def" "-2 str" (20k-risk)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ammy: generally its str, if you use "glory" (55k) and a "zerker helm", you can use "warrior helm" + str ammy (5k) for the same bonuses (70k-risk)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

cape: Theres not much risk undless you bring OBBY (250k), fire can be picked up, other capes dont worth so much, skill or quest cape work well too...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

body: rune plate / figther torso, those are better to bring (low risk)

 

 

 

Note* IF you want high def, if you bring barrows, bring a granite body (100k) and get a good def bonus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

legs: rune legs/skirt... nothing much to say (40k) each

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

boots: climbing/addy... decent def low risk, bringing rune boots its a higher risk (180k) better to dh.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

gloves: RFD if you dont live pking RUNE GLOVES are the best option.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

shield: For pking, DEFENDERS are a must, you can bring rune kite (45k)

 

 

 

but DEFENDERS are better, you can pick them up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

weapon: WHIP, you know that PROTECT them is a must, theres not a big risk.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

B) mage:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

mage pking at high levels must be combined with melee/range...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Helm: faaser (50k)/zerker (melee), zerker is better for melee since it gives better def bonus, ahrim hood is really good for mage pking BUT ITS A HIGH RISK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ammy: glory/str//power?

 

 

 

anyone works well, str, power (cheap) dont work like glory but they still work and risk a low amount.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cape: Fire, god, ghostly. for mage pking just that capes work, ALL OF THEM UNTREDABLE AND CAN BE PICKD UP.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BODY: ahrim (700k) mystic (75k), it all depends if you farcast or no, For 100 and under AHRIM is a high risk.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LEGS: ahrim skirt, Dh chaps (range) Depends if you farcast or no...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

boots: MYSTIC (15K), OR CLIMBING (2K) for mage-range BRING MYSTIC, for mage melee climbing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gloves: black dh vambs (10k), barrows (130k) mystic are better (15k)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

shield: defender, obby shield (325k), rune kite.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

weapon: Whip (pro), dragon scim, dds, karil (pro).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

RANGE:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

this is quite easy, we just gotta say some things,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MULTI: full black dh, glory, magic bow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOT MULTI: full black dh/torags legs, glory/fury (protect), magic bow/c bow/karil x-bow.

gloves: RFD, you can pick them up so you dont lose 1gp...

OT:the most you say you can pick up you must first drop than tele back to pick up ...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

at mage you can better use magic ammy... best mage bounus of all and cheapest ^^

Please actually try pking before you write a guide.. for mage you dont mention the unholy book- free to get back if you lose it. Also zammy robes- free if you go to the underground pass or 5/10k from players. you didnt mention legends capes either. 650gp from a shop plus they're untradable. many many glaring ommisions there. :shame:
