We should be able to choose a base colour for our skill cape and a colour trim for it as well (if u have 2 or more 99 skill that is). The icon and emote would still b same though...

As much as I'd love to see a quest like this, I think something else is needed to make a trimmed quest cape.

 

 

 

Unless the quest you speak of is about the equivalent of getting a fire cape, I think it'll be a joke. Even the hardest quests: RFD, DT, MEII, and say MM combined are barely close to that difficulty.

the quest is up to the imagination of the guy who makes it, although it hopefully won't be as easy as others...

At first when i found out Quest Capes were not able to be trimmed i thought it was stupid, but now i think its ok. Skilling and Questing are two different things so i think its better that it stays the way it is.

 

 

 

Also say you could get them trimmed, say i had a Quest cape and an Attack cape, the attack cape would be trimmed, but what happened if i never did any quests for a year, so i couldn't wear my Quest cape, this would mean i have a trimmed Attack cape without another achievement cape.

 

 

 

So it makes sense that Quest Capes cannot be trimmed.

Since I have 2 99's my capes have added prayer bonus. I don't have a quest cape but if i did I wouldn't wear it because of the fact that it doesn't have the same prayer bonus. I think if you have 2 99's and a quest cape, it should be trimmed.

 

 

 

1) People would be able to recognize that you do infact have 2 or more skills maxed.

 

 

 

2) You would get the extra prayer bonus in the cape.

 

 

 

3) People would wear the quest cape just as much as the other skill capes they own.

 

I don't think they should be trimmed, unless some other non-skill related quest like cape comes out. Skills should remain with the skills, and the quest cape is just different from them.

 

 

 

Maybe having a fire cape can trim the quest cape :D

 

just an idea... because i agree skills and quests don't coincide, but mini games and quests do!

 

 

 

Maybe instead of gold trim lava would flow down the side and the quest cape in the middle? That'd be pretty hawt IMO.

Regardless, I like the idea of another cape trimming the quest cape. Perhaps the prestigious and nigh impossible to get music cape?

no, i don't feel like it.

 

questing is quite easier then skilling (ok there are some skills that are easy).

 

but quests.. can't explain why but don't have a good feeling about it :)

 

 

 

and if it's gonna be trimmed.. you need to do a quest for it, a very, very hard one :twisted:

well, the achievement diary that was announced may have some effect on the state of qp capes...

The time required to get all the quest points is nothing compared to the time required for two 99 skills (trimmed cape).

I dont understand whats with ppl wanting trimmed quest capes... They ALREADY look trimmed, and it's just totally useless.

 

Is it because all capes have a non-trimmed and trimmed versions and that the little perfectionists are getting all worked out because the capes are not all the same? "OMGAWD a different cape! Let's perfectionise it to make it like all the other capes!" Omg the world is insane.
