March 31, 200719 yr I favour the iron mine near yanille. 3 rocks, all that's needed is 1 step to the left then back again to get all three rocks. Yanille bank can be used, or you can powermine. March 31, 200719 yr well i was talking to a 99 miner(selling me 3k oak planks) and she power mined granite so its proven as an xp mover. i would say coal in mining guild but im rubbish at mining anyway

March 31, 200719 yr I just hit 85 mining today, and granite is by far the fastest exp. you'll be able to find. I've mined iron in varrock and outside of yanille, but none of it can touch granite - even having to carry 24 waterskins.
March 31, 200719 yr Yes granite is still the best exp. If you wear full desert and bring about 24-25 waterskins, you should be banking about every 2 hours. Take it as a small break from the mining. If you're considering iron, mine at rocks south of piscatorious colony Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
