that place is horrible XP

8 prayer XP per monkey bone, and 40-50k combat XP per hour.

you get 60-70k XP per hour under ther lighthouse, you use a little bit of food, but seriously... ape atoll is usually crowded and slow XP.

not to mention that bloody spider always poisoning you.

the only time that place should be used is when your dharok-ing...

nudist hippy vegan elves who inexplicably wear leather.

Hey, I did that for 69 def, a few things you might wana add:

If you get in trouble, need a breather, or want to hop worlds safely, run behing the square things in the corner where you won't get attacked.

I brought a row of lobs with me just for getting there and incase I made mistakes, I used 2.

If you play around, you can find plenty of safe spots.

I brought Ectophial for quick tele, tele tabs would be good also.

This also works very well with full Dharoks: use digsite explosives to get to low hp, put on prayer, and say near the altar...DO NOT do this if you have a slow connection, however, as you'll have to time to react if you lag and your prayer runs out.

^Thanks Lil_Atza!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. ... Smells like...victory.

Keeping the Protect Item Prayer on seems kind of pointless since you also have Protect From Melee on the whole time (unless you are planning on dying from poison).

PM me to have any potions made or crafting done

Here is what I like to bring:

Rfd gloves

D Scimmy (whip got taken away by karil lol)

Fighter Torso (+4 Str, dont need prayer bonus when u stand next to it)

Proselyte Legs

Climbing boots

Unholy book

Amulet of Glory

Neitznot Helm

Prayer book (better than antipots)

Emergency rations

This is a good place to train because you can pick up loots of free sharks from all the Monkey Madness questers that die trying to go down the ladder. Only annoying thing is all the questions they ask. I have found lots of armour in death piles as well and some prayer pots.
