Wierdest thing you've seen a music artist do?

Featured Replies

It can be related to his/her music (such as in a video, song, etc.) or not.

My wierdest would most definetly be what I just saw on YouTube: (Awful) Hip-hop artist Fat Joe was on cribs, licking the bottom of one-of a kind (apparently, but very expensive nonetheless) sneakers. Ewww! He says it tasted good. Did it taste of sweatshop sweat or something? I pity that man.

(he looks like the love child of Jennifer Lopez and Porky Pig :XD: )

Anyway, what's yours?

saw alice cooper decapitated live on stage by his daughter.. that was pretty damn cool. And im going to see him again!! WOO!!

GG Allin

GG Allin (29 August 1956 ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ 28 June 1993) was a punk singer and bandleader who performed and recorded with many groups during his career.

He is best remembered for his notorious live performances that typically featured wildly transgressive acts such as Allin defecating onstage, rolling in excrement, committing self-injury, performing naked, taunting people to perform fellatio on him, and violent actions towards the audience. Although more notorious for his stage antics than for his wide body of music, he recorded prolifically, not only in the punk rock genre, but also in spoken word, country and western and Rolling Stones-influenced rock.

I...I think Lateralus won.

Not weird, but cool: On a Maiden dvd I have, Bruce lifts Dave up on his shoulders as he's soloing...pretty SWELL.

It really has

I've seen Matt Zane do a whole set while suspended and swinging across the stage on a bunch of meat hooks in his back.

when that one dude from the band Mayhem sold the skull fragments of their fellow band mate on necklaces, who had blown his head with a shotgun.

A quiet, introverted person, Dead is perhaps best known for his stage antics. He was known to bury his clothes weeks before a concert and to then dig them up again on the night of the event. This way he would have, as he put it, the "essence of death"; wearing torn, dirty, moldy, and bug-infested clothing. During one tour with Mayhem he found a dead raven, which he collected and stored in a plastic bag. He would often smell the bag before performing, saying he needed to "inhale the smell of death."

On several occasions Dead cut himself with broken glass and hunting knives. During one show in Sarpsborg, Norway in 1990, he cut himself with a broken bottle so badly that he had to be taken to a hospital due to a loss of blood.

On April 8, 1991, fellow Mayhem band member, ÃÆÃâÃâ¹Ãâystein 'Euronymous' Aarseth, found Dead dead, with slit wrists, and a shotgun wound to the head. It has been rumoured that the suicide note that was found with his corpse simply read "Excuse all the blood." (Hellhammer later elaborated that the note was a bit more detailed, including apologies for having to use the shotgun inside the house, but the knife was just too dull to finish the job). Euronymous then ran off and bought a disposable camera and took pictures of the grisly scene, which were later used for a bootleg album entitled Dawn of the Black Hearts, containing recordings from the previously mentioned Sarpsborg, Norway gig from 1990, as well as four live songs Mayhem performed with their old vocalist Maniac in 1986. Dead's suicide photo was never intended to be used at all for an album cover, but in fact it was stolen and used against the bands will. Aarseth was also said to have eaten parts of Dead's brain, and to have made necklaces out of fragments of his skull, although Aarseth himself dismissed the former of these claims in an interview (1). It is also rumoured that pieces of his skull were mailed out to bands that Aarseth saw as "worthy", such as the Swiss band Samael. According to Mayhem drummer Hellhammer, Morgan S. HÃÆÃâÃâÃÂ¥kansson of Marduk still has some pieces of Dead's skull. It of Abruptum also claims to have small pieces.

Had to read that twice to understand it properly

Having said that, one foot with a sock, the other without. I might start a new fashion trend! (And fail)

Not really weird but I love it how Chuck Berry does the duck walk when he's soloing  Or how Angus Young falls down on the ground and starts making circles with his guitar  .

99 Slayer since August 2007.

I never saw it, obviously, but seeing a man decapitating a live bat on stage, must make you think: "What the smeg was that about?"
