April 8, 200719 yr We all know of the current following ways. i would like to suggest that instead of simply following some one in a single file line, i think there should be a way to follow someone by going right next to them. another option would let you follow 1 space behind and one space to the side of the player your following. this would make clan formations a lot more fun and effective. post if you support, and if you don't please state clearly as to why you don't. Thanks btw: i'll put up example pics when i get a new comp  supporters: -rpg gamer1 -Bloody scife -Dougymc -Fes bisbmar -curly55555 -mmm syrup -Zaaps1 -Die774 -Warshadow212 ? -Ember3579 -Recksash -Str Owns 10 -Darkblade986 -mr own5 - - - Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. April 9, 200719 yr nice good idea How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?
April 9, 200719 yr I'll support it - even though I don't do clans. It would make them somewhat easier to spot. Sorry about your siggy Gehackte, I likeed the lesser on it. http://custom.leetscape.com/sig/63/70/combat.png[/img]You just won the award for "The Most niave person on the Tip.it Boards!"]*Points towards the monkey sitting on the button and declining every query*Help me No.
April 9, 200719 yr SUPPORT! It would make taking level up pictures at parties much easier. I love the idea! :D "Gain lvls? As a "lvl 3 skiller"? The clue's in the title, nub!"
April 29, 200719 yr Author does no one else agree with me? i mean think of how cool it would be to march into the wild in a tight V formation or something. Plus it would not only look cool, but it would actually help warn others of an oncoming clan attack. What could be bad about this becoming reality? April 29, 200719 yr Wow, cool idea, while your at it have the option to turn off following so no one can follow you. ~It's Super Effective! April 29, 200719 yr I thought this was a ripoff of my thread when I read the title but I guess not, anyway I support. Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
April 29, 200719 yr Not very original, but still... do you know how to do such a formation with Java? If you do have any at all ideas for coding this, let us know! I mean, it'd make sense if you had something to back you up! Do your research, you know?
April 29, 200719 yr i dont think a knowledge of coding language is needed for suggesting things, just a knowledge of the game and its community. and keep in mind that the moment someone says something is impossible (with few exeptions aside from the obvious), that someone is going to prove them wrong. just ask the wright brothers to name 2 people :P You never know which rabbit hole you jump into will lead to Wonderland. - Ember3579Aku Soku Zan. - ShinsengumiYou wanna mess with me or my friends? April 29, 200719 yr Well, not saying anything wrong with his idea. Just saying that it's a little more difficult with Java to do that. Orientation in Java is a more complex coding sequence. Hell, I once complained about the graphics. Everyone told me to shut up. With your reasoning, that means JaGEx could improve graphics.
May 1, 200719 yr Author Hell, I once complained about the graphics. Everyone told me to shut up. With your reasoning, that means JaGEx could improve graphics. haven't they already? if you wanna go way back to RSC (the real runescape) its graphics were half the bit rate as the current runescape. and if you haven't noticed, JaGeX does improve the graphics now and then, the most resent being the goblins. fallador didn't always look like it does now all white and shiny. It used to look worse then the slums of Barbarian Village! Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. May 1, 200719 yr This would be an amusing suggestion. You could put my name down, however realize that this is support from me, not the entire staff. It'd be interesting to make a giant "X" or something, and go running full force into the wilderness like that and scare the crud out of a lone player... Flying V would also be amusing to do... As to this point... Not very original, but still... do you know how to do such a formation with Java? If you do have any at all ideas for coding this, let us know! I mean, it'd make sense if you had something to back you up! Do your research, you know? The current follow program sets it up where it notes the player's previous square and moves you to that square as best as possible. I'm sure it'd be easy to simply make code that detected the direction you're walking, and moved the square you are to be in appropriately... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
May 11, 200719 yr Author ooo a tip.it crew member likes my idea  and apperently he has a knoledge of Java script as well. any way i was just gonna ask if someone else, other than me could comeup with a screen shot for this. unfortunatly my laptop can't play RS and it mite be a while b4 my new harddrive comes in Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic.
