Satenza
I deny that! But happy easter. meh. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
Mercifull
What are you talking about? Easter is about giving people expensive cards and overpriced, over packaged chocolate eggs. pffft Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Satenza
No eggs in america. It's "candy" bunnies and all that jazz. "Going down the pan" insinuates society was once at it's most "christian moral" when was the time society was better than it is now. In your point of view. It's a shame you were born a couple of centuries late. You would have just loved the Crusades. Whatever this day is, I hope people enjoy it. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. MyPurpleCrayon
Happy Easter to everyone, even the obnoxious bigots like Matt who have nothing better to do than come into a clearly Christian thread and decided to insult the very day we base our entire belief system off of. Hope it's a good day for everyone, my Church service was phenomenal. :P Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so. Who let the preachy obviously american jehovahs witnesses in here? Everyone knows easter is when jesus came back as a rabbit and threw chocolate eggs to people. Plus, im not Christian, so to me, (and other people in the world) easter is a time of year where we get a few days off of work, and some chocolate. \ Welcome to the 21st Century. People that say it is all about chocolate are very ignorant if they think that. Well, to me it is, because I don't believe in Christianity. Am I ignorant for not believing in Christianity? For those who do believe, it will mean more to you, obviously I can accept that and I'm happy for you if it makes you happy, but don't tell me what or what not to believe. That isn't just directed at you, but also the thread starter. Again. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

That's ridiculous if you want to celebrate something you need to know what you're celebrating. If you don't, I call that ignorance but apparently I was wrong. Anyway I don't want to get into a heated debate about this.

Right, and I'm obviously not going to try and convert you over the internet to become a Christian, and those were never my intentions. But I do think that it's funny how people celebrate a Holiday based off of something that is entirely lost sight of. Even if I did, I'd be doing it to celebrate other things, like friendship, and not the story of Christ. Even if I did, where does it say that you have to be celebrating it if you want to eat the chocolate eggs. If I give someone a present at Christmas, or any other time, do I have to be celebrating Christianity? (or more specifically, paganism) I'll believe what I want to believe and how I want to believe in it. I'll let you do the same, even if you try to stop mine. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
