  1. I'd still read them because I'm sure when I read them again I'm going to pick up more details that I missed first time around. You won't get the thrill like first time around but you might enjoy it more if you can make more connections between the characters and different books.
  2. Well I just finished reading the book, took me less than three days. Earlier in the book I was a little bored, like the characters were just sitting around a bit to much. But the last 150-200 pages were great :D Kind of feels an end of an era, no more Potter books to look forward to, ohhh well I felt the ending was great really some twists in it. I think I'm going to have to read the fifth and sixth books again because I honestly can't remember that much of them so I had to keep asking my brother about who so and so was etc. But great book :D
  3. ^^Good points, but that comment about higher levels ranting more is not true as lower levels are always whinging when they don't get enough but I still think they get too much. Also if Jagex intended for us mine higher rocks they wouldn't make iron such high level exp, so I think thats a double standard!
  4. Don't forget to add your name if you want more TIF friends :D
  5. some excellent stats we have on tipit
  6. I come back here several monthes later and 12 pages  keep it up \
  7. And thus you have made the most valid point here, which also happens to be the reason that I stay out of these arguments anymore (although I apparently couldn't help myself this time...) Everyone here will claim the other side knows nothing because no one here is, in fact, a scientist or an "expert" on climate. This argument is largely pointless. For the record I don't see a problem with anybody quoting wikipedia. People get ahead of themselves here. Everybody acts like an expert when in reality the majority of people here are just teenagers (intelligent ones true) but teenagers none the less. Probably explains why mostly everyone here wants to be right all the time and why you rarely see a "mature" debate.
  8. I think more should be done to combat it. People are just sitting back and getting on with their lives likes its no big deal. It's not only humans that would be effected by the consequences but wildlife would suffer tremendously. People are to greedy though, its all about making money in this world and renewable energy sources just aren't cost efficient.
  9. The idea of targetting Muslims at airport security wouldn't work. It would probably make the situation worse. Sectarianism would increase between Muslims and people of other Religions. We shouldn't be promoting racial inferiority (which by specifically targetting Muslims we would be) to others, as the problem would escalate out of control. Can you imagine how Al-Quaeda would profit from this? There hasn't been a terrorist attack on US soil for almost 6 years, fear is the only weapon Al-Quaeda has and by acting on this ill thought out idea we would be playing directly into their hands.
  10. I agree with him, Satenza what do you possibly hope to achieve by creating an argument here?
  11. Well, to me it is, because I don't believe in Christianity. Am I ignorant for not believing in Christianity? For those who do believe, it will mean more to you, obviously I can accept that and I'm happy for you if it makes you happy, but don't tell me what or what not to believe. That isn't just directed at you, but also the thread starter. Again. So the day you eat chocolate eggs *coincidentally* is the same day as Easter? That's ridiculous if you want to celebrate something you need to know what you're celebrating. If you don't, I call that ignorance but apparently I was wrong. Anyway I don't want to get into a heated debate about this.
  12. Beat me to it, anyway Happy Easter to everyone today was a great day. People that say it is all about chocolate are very ignorant if they think that.

  14. Typical ignorant English people. Seriously you're sitting down to eat at a restaurant and all you can hear is 'Why can't everybody speak English" lol. Haha, read my post again, particularly the small text. Fool, not everyone in England is a Wayne and Waynetta, a lot of people, me included speak a lot of French, and a fair amount of Spanish and German. Which more than could be said for the Americans... Read the entire post text time fool, I shouldn't have to put [/sarcasm] at the end of a blantently sarcastic post. You just unearthed a little thing I find annoying about English people. It wasn't specifically meant to offend you. Also its all very well taking the moral high ground but then going and making a comment about the Americans doesn't help your case :-w Maybe you just shouldn't use tiny print!
  15. An elected official, you said it yourself is the Queen elected? No, therefore her very position is undemocratic. She has reserve powers which give her alot of power, you can argue they are cermonial and perhaps it seems that way but she still has alot of power. Parabola please don't accuse me of ignorance when you have failed to reply to two of my points: "Wow France was nice, but I find the lack of Monarchy a real setback. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe just didn't match up to the fact that there was a remote chance I would see the Queen".

  17. King and Queens throughout the ages have had thousands of people executed in the name of treason, religious backgrounds, skin colour etc. If you have ever studied some of the British Monarchs you would understand how brutal some of them were. But whoopee its all about tradition, ignorance is bliss, am I right?
  18. And how do you plan on verifying that people are 18? They would be posting their photo wouldn't they?
  19. Branching from Adam's idea we should make it so you have to be 18+ to post a picture. That way you are a consenting adult so if you get captured and raped its your own fault.
  20. You can say that, but in reality she owns several palaces gets to be refered to as 'Your majesty' has millions of pounds for herself. Stop making out she leads a difficult lifestyle she is waited on hand and foot. If it was really that tough she could hand her reign down to someone who could 'handle all the work'. As 1_man_army said, when you go on holiday to England do you actually ever meet the Queen? No. I think we should still respect the History of the English Monarchy but to be honest I think the human race has grown out of the need for a Monarchy.
  21. The Prime Minister of Finland is a celebrity? :-s
  22. StrOwez just because a couple of strange girls with dorky glasses think that God hates homosexuals does not mean that the hundreds of millions of Christians in this world agree with them. So stop stereotyping.
  23. You only replied to half of my post. You failed to mention anything about the fact that Britain as a democracy needs a Royal Bloodline. Working is travelling now? Getting to travel all around the world regularly visiting new places and people is hard work? What are you talking about being "paraded", its not like she is coerced into doing any of it, as the Queen she can do whatever she likes. Even though that article is two years old I see that 37 million pounds is apparently not alot nowadays, you're saying 37 million couldn't be spent elsewhere? Also with the amount of property the Royal Family has I'm sure if they were removed from power there would be hundreds of millions of pounds available.
  24. They are 'lunatics' who use passages from the bible to support their actions, and most Christians accept the bible to be the word of 'God'. So why are these people only a tiny minority?
  25. Nice reply, care to elaborate? Like providing some evidence. Unless you're about to tell me you're actually a personal friend of the Queen and you know the in's and out's of her itinery?
