I remember trying to kill 'Raven' on Metal Gear Solid 1, he used to scare the life out of me when you'd have almost killed him and he started running. Also it didnt help when you knew your rations had frozen by then. A big relief when I finally killed him. The final boss on 'GUN' the game was pretty challenging aswell, but once you'd figured out what to do it was easier.

That cliche' is used a bit too much. I'm sure SOME of them do, but most of them do not. All the "cool" kids in my school are in college, and I only know about a few of the "losers", and they're not doing much of anything with their life, so... When it is, in fact, you that is naive because there are already legal recreational drugs. Alcohol. Tobacco. In other countries, like the Netherlands, drugs like Cannabis are legal - yet their society is hardly crumbling. Please be aware that we are talking about cocaine, heroine, hard drugs not soft. These are the types that would really make a difference.

Cooking seems to be popular, aswell at strength and flecthing for that matter. Oh well I guess they're the easiest skills to level and most popular.

The day drugs are legalised is the same day the world ends. I'm thinking along the lines of teenagers here, they already think it's cool to smoke. Just imagine what would happen if a cigarette was replaced with a sniff of cocaine. The NHS would be fall to pieces as there would be so many overdoses, just like alcohol how many children at the age of around 15/16 go get drunk at the weekend, alot is all I can say. With drugs it could turn out fatal. You are obviously very very naive.

Pretty much agreed with Maddra. The mini game mainly consists of waiting around and cursing your fellow team-mates. It's boring as well, like somone mentioned earlier you spend alot of time hopping worlds and then praying that the world doesn't get messed up by a bunch of questioning level 40-50's. I don't think Jagex intended it to be such fast experience it's just that recently they seem to be building up the 'multiplayer' part of MMORPG, castle wars, barbarian assault etc. I think i'll just stick to my ice giants in level 48 wilderness, safe in the knowledge that i'm not going to get jabbered at by some idiot for leaving the gate open.

Some diverse theories coming through here. Lot's of different speculations which are very interesting without doubt. But as someone earlier rightly pointed out there is no solid evidence from Jagex. Does that make this debate pointless? No I don't think so because you're all welcome to try and prove your theory if you wish...if you can find the time :wink:

Hey I'm going to be making some gold amulets(gemmed) I just have a couple of questions. If i'm going to alch them will stringing them bring me anymore more money? If the answer to that question was yes, would enchanting them also bring more money? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Mining...a great skill, my favourite probably. I like it because there is no cheap way to level it, there is no pest control, if you have 85 mining nobody can call you a PC noob because there is no PC for mining. Now my mining is level 73, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m an average miner, maybe a bit more than average, IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m in the top 100k after all. I spend a lot of time in the mining guild as IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m *aiming* for level 85 rune mining. As a level 73 I have roughly 5 times the experience of a level 60. Yet , I find myself being beaten regularly by level 60-65 miners. A friend of mine I regularly mine with has level 92 mining and he tells me that lower level miners have a much greater chance of gaining the ore than a higher player. He was telling me about a time he was mining with a level 99 miner and he beat him 7 times out of 10 despite the huge gap in experience. I'm sure we have all experienced this problem. But, what are views on mining, do lower-levelled-miners have an advantage over higher players or is mining all about playing the odds? Let me reinforce what I'm saying, do you believe(like me) that there is too fine a line between high level miners and mid level miners.
