I don't think it's done as standard. Clearly, it happens, but I don't think it's practice to do so, as it is in the majority of the U.S. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

April 19, 200719 yr "Do you think it is wrong to teach christianity as fact in our primary schools?" I don't find it wrong. Its culture. It is another way of thinking. I think every avenue should be presented to children as they grow to see our world, evolution should also be taught. As well as muslim and jewish believes, hindu and buddhist, ect ect ect. We shouldnt pick one idea and shove it down our kids throats, making them closed minded drones of society, no matter if it is evolution or religion that you shove. All religions...credible religions(no spaghetti monsters)...should be taught individualy as "plausible", and evolution should be treated with the same respect/disrespect as religion. Some people are like slinkies, normally they are dull, but they always give you a smile when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Even then, I go to a Catholic High School, and I don't feel all that pressured. We learn about Christianity (though they don't totally force it on us), but mainly we learn about philosophy, morality and social justice and whatnot in religion classes. Parabola, is it really that bad? Is it like fundamentalist, or what? EDIT: Okay, this'd probably be better as a PM, as to stay on topic :-k . A. She basically said a lot of bs, then said it's right in faith schools, but in state schools students should learn other religions and points of views. Q2. Do you find that your religious believes clash with your political views, because you voted for pro gay adoption yet the Jewish law condemns it. A. Loads of BS, then she said that she isnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t really that strong a Jew, she only supports some aspects of the religion. Another questions asked by my fellow classmates: Q. Do you think corporal punishment in schools is a thing that is needed in todayÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s society. A. No I condemn violence and corporal punishment is violence. Q. Are the bus fairs going to rise AGAIN? A. No, we talked with (insert company name) and we agreed they will freeze them. I almost wet myself laughing when someone asked "Why do we have ribs?" and the teacher replied "Because God wanted us to have them, we are God's people and we shall serve them" (I was athiest from about year 5 or 6) Q. It makes no sense how the government keeps telling us to go green, use public transport and help reduce carbon omissions by not using your cars, hence the congestion charge, yet they consistently raise the prices for public transport. I blame it on privitisation - just look at the railways (in my area) the price goes up once a year at the same time every year & as if that wasn't enough they go up beyond the rate of inflation & the quality of the service is reduced. The worst thing is that there is little the government can do about it, any saving they give to companies aren't going to be passed on to commuters, it's a completely unjustifiable shambles.
