Real Magic (not RS magic)

Featured Replies

I have seen a lot of Criss Angel and whatever and I was very intregued by how he does most of his tricks (walking on water, floating, etc.) If you know any form of magic or tricks please share here or post your opinion on this.

If you're thinking that this magic you see is in any way real, you're playing right into thier hands. That's what they want you to think. There's nothing special about these people. They can just revert your attention away from what thier trick is, be it through an object, mirrors or appealing to an act that generates all of your attention. No doubt that some are great at what they do.

Well obviously, but it looks so real and so cool (I know how he does the floating trick). It's not that I believe it, but they do a good job at making it seem real.

You'll like this post, not a lot, but you'll like it.

Of course its all trickery and not real magic, but that doesnt make it any less entertaining for me - some of those illusionists must be really smart people.

kudos to anyone who gets the first line btw

Ahh good old Paul :D

P&T do it in a way which makes it even more incredible that not knowing at all. Then they do the trick again and complete it a different way that they don't tell you about so you are totally gob smacked.

the oldest trick to distract you so they can do their trick w/o you noticing? using a ver hot girl!!!

With a skimpy, wet T-shirt and Daisy Duke shorts!

SWAG

Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

Heres a nice but simple one

items needed:

Coffe Mug

circular sponge(or just cut a square one, must fit into bottom of mug, inside)

Basically what you do it glue the sponge to the bottom of the mug..

Then get a small ammount(not so big that the sponge won't absorb it) of scalding liquid(preferably coffe) and pour it in

Then pretend to pour it on someone and, voila!, nothing comes out

PRACTICE BEFORE ATTEMPTING!!!

pffft rubbish. get the stuff out of nappies which solidifies liquids. that's the best stuff to use for a trick like this. pour out a coffee into an empty mug, add a tough of milk and then a few spoonfuls of "sugar" :D

I saw David Copperfield in Vegas, that was amazing... Some of the stuff that he did

One of his illusions was there were 4 poles on the stage, he put a cloth over them and ripped it away and there was a car on top of them... He got in it and started it up and everything... Amazing he was

The magic of chemistry! You know some old day alchemists probably would have thought such a thing was magic. Now we can explain it all on a fundamental level and up.

I don't call that magic. I call it illusionism. Better word - Magic implies you're actually doing something that's, you know, really supernatural.

Which I've never seen any stage performer do, and likely never will. Besides, I like the sound of illusionism. :P

It's magic if you believe in magic.

I do magic! I got my first wand when I was seven. I still have it today, and even though I'm graduated and pursuing a career in Quidditch that doesn't mean I still don't love to do magic.

Ah, I remember the good ol' days when I used to play pranks on my roommates.

Don't get it? Look at my name.

pyroqe6.jpg

Me doing staff.

No, that's slight of hand.

That's magic.
