Pkmastachaos
Gold ores. By far the only way to really "power-level" smithing efficiently. With the use of those gold guantlets you'll get a good chunk of experience. Although a pricey method, you'll be saving yourself a ton of cash mining those ores (which you are) So it should work real well. :D
Freesia
So far smelting cballs is one good way, not that slow exp and no loss incurred. Only profit. No ores needed as well, even if you buy steel bars you still profit. Only bad thing is the speed and boredom factor Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. Harrington
Actually.. cannon balls are very slow exp indeed, although somewhat profitable. Like Pkmastachaos, gold ores with the guantlets are fastest... about 56k experience per hour. Another popular method is making iron knives. A small profit and about 25k exp per hour. meol
There's an average method that gives money and is (IMHO) faster than cball smelting, which is smithing iron knives. This signature is intentionally left blank.

shawrty4
They are from the family crest quest... you can get chaos, cooking, gold... Chaos makes the magic spells that use chaos runes hit higher Cooking you burn stuff less at lower lvls Gold gives you i think its about double the experience when making gold bars... sparticus348
Buy the highest bars you can smith, and smith the highest thing you can. But that would be literally throwing your money away. Break
