Pyrolikespie
Well, today I went to go buy some runes at the Port Sarim magic shop. (No laughing please) I saw a lvl 3 buying things there. As I went to see what was in stock the chaos and death runes were currently at 0, and as soon as it was restocked with another rune it was bought. His/her name was.. well I forgot but it was a combination of two short words, like "outbe" or something. So I switch worlds. I was in 66, and went to 60. Another one with a similar name and was hogging the magic shop there too. Any info on these things? Officially retired on 12/10/07, no drop parties because that might be "covertly trading wealth". What does one person's happiness(until they quit) mean compared to the hours I wasted while runecrafting, anyways?
bsmovies
yeah, theyre autobuyers. like most macros/autos, they do it for money, to sell high on market.

RuDuDe2202
Yeah, theyre even in the members world too. Ive seen level 3s at the mage arena shop or the magic guild shop and they all have similar names and the same cloths (if its a guy, hes bald, light brown shirt, green pants, etc...basically they were too lazy to make the gus look slightly differnt) One way you know a levels 3s a macroer/botter is if they have the same clothes as the other level 3s (youll know when oyu see it)

usahellyes
Basically just to add on to what people are saying: Report them immediately. I did it to one of the mage arena autoers and five seconds later he disappeared.

skeroh
there are also guys/gals that do that down in rimmington at brian's arrow bazzarr or whatever it's called. they'll buy 10 addy and 10 mith every minute or two, and then sell them for 100gp+ Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

I did it to one of the mage arena autoers and five seconds later he disappeared. The auto'er would not have been banned that quick, what they do is hop worlds buying up all the stock then off-load to a mule account which holds all the stock. Captainkidd
Belive it or not autoers help you, they get raw items (In massive amounts) and sell a little under the high market price, when you see an autoer selling somthing they only have to say it a few times before its sold. Its not fair that some ones making millions off them but atleast they help us.

Telegram
Runescape will have another crack-down and go banning all the marco-ers like they did last year. I have also learned that they ban the I.P address too, so they ban all the accounts made by the same person. For all you little 11 years olders out there, an I.P address is like a address to a house, it will ban every one who lives there. ~TeleGram~

Doomster
One of the Highwaymen (I think, the one that also walks close to the wizards) can be lured into Betty's shop. It won't attack any autos that have been there for the "non-agressive" time, but would be a very effective move if used after a system update, and repeated, just so long as other players don't keep killing it! There might also be a chance of relieving the auto of a large quantity of runes!
