So, has anyone tried it yet? Does it give a lot of watermelon seeds? Do you acquire them fast? Will prices drop? Is it the best way to acquire those seeds?

I know, I know, just starting the topic already :P

Jagex being Jagex, this wont be the next big thing for farming. And if it is, It'll get nerfed fairly pronto.

Well I'm going to do this tonight before I do the new quest. If it does get nerfed for the worse, I want to make sure that I get a decent amount of seeds first :) And it is a bit more incentive to have another go at getting the lumberjack top! Maybe I will get lucky this time...

Jagex doesn't nerfe things often, If I'm not mistaken. So it will probably stink right away :lol: But heck, it's another source of seeds, so at least the prices might go down. If it doesn't help, it doesn't hurt... but I really hope this turns out good, as I'm always in desperate need of cheap watermelons :P

Are strawberry seeds available from that as well? Personally i think strawberries are needed in higher amounts compared to melons..

Why? Once you get the level to plant watermelons you don't want to go with low-xp strawberries anymore, imo. If you can get loads of watermelons (IF) with this minigame then it's easy xp for farming. Why would you want strawberries then?

StrawBerries are also good xp for lower levels. I wish I could've planted strawberries insted of 60+ baskets fo tomatoes

*does a happy dance* I am soooo glad to hear it's watermelon seeds instead of wildblood :D

 

 

 

(regarding strawberries, I have 500+ baskets in bank that I have no current use for, but spare watermelons can be made super compost!)

if THE watermellon seed source is good, then farmers will enjoy it andget cheaper levels. lets hope for it! :pray:
