Post or Die! Best way to Barrows!

I just read people's posts, and i had a question.

 

 

 

I know what im doing at barrows (had all barrows items at least once), i don't count trips, but ive done a fair few, ive iced,slayer darted, and recently verac'd my way through the barrows brothers.

 

 

 

BUT, i wondered how people use guthans?

 

I use the non-prayer potion method, and recharge at my house after each trip, but i use around 5 sharks per trip (alot moe if verac is lucky on me). Do people use guthans as main weapon on the brothers? or use it in a different way?

Best way to do it is keep your health high (freezing or tanking the brothers, shouldn't be too difficult) then once you reach the tunnel, heal off the monsters down there.

 

 

 

Of course, there are other ways to use it, too. That's just what works best when going for speed.

In my opinion, the most cost effective method is to wear as much mage boosting gear as possible, to maximize effeciancy. You want to take down a Brother within two hits of the "Ghostly Aura" if possible. I'll tell what I use...

In my inventory, I carry a Rune Defender, Abby Whip, and DDS. I use Ice Blitz to hold the brother and then use Ice Burst on autocast as my primary attack, recasting Blitz when necessary. I use up all my prayer, but do not pot unless Dharok/Karil are in the Tunnel.

 

 

 

I burst everything except Karil and Ahrim, whom I use the DDS/Whip combo. I carry house tablets, 4 sharks, 8 lobsters, and 1 four dose Prayer Potion.

 

 

 

My order is:

 

 

 

Dharok > Karil > Ahrim > Guthan > Torag > Verac

1 dose of prayer per run. You can figure out how many runs that is.

god spells,slayer dart or ancients i hate ranging or meleeing there

 

 

 

 

 

god spells r gd, but they dont freeze...

 

 

 

i don't undertand how people use 1 dose with slayer dart either.

I taunt them with cruel names untill they cry and then hit them across the head repeatedly with a watering can.
