Any runes you get can be kept for future use or sold for profit. I can finish an entire run without wasting pray pots when I use a salamander and tar's easy to produce quickly.

I use 0 prayer doses per trip. About 1-10 monkfish. House teleport to restore prayer and teleport to canafis. Any faster ways without guthan or pray pots?!

Anyone 115+ I suggest melee every brother. Just bring super set, house runes (with kharil poral in house),1 pray pot, spade, d hide bodie and chaps, and a dds (I think thats everything)[rest food: lobs/monks]. Wear your best melee equipment and start.

Go to your brother thats in tunnel

 

make your way to middle

Im lev 102. I use Guthans without spear (too poor/unlucky), black dhide, slayer dart or black sally. I pray on first 2 or 3 bros. (dharok, karil, ahrim). the rest i just slayer dart or sally. In the tunnels I try to safespot remaining brother. Get to chest, home teletab and restock prayer. return to canafis to get more food, rinse and repeat.

Works perfectly, though it's only good for 1 run. Using this method, I never have to drink any p pots, except for the RARE time Karil/Ahrim decide that they should do extreme amounts of damage to me. :? What I do is this:

 

 

 

Bank at Canafis. Use the pub shortcut. Mage Dh with melee protect on. Drink a dose of SA and dds/whip Karil while using Ultimate Strength prayer on (usually don't need ranged pray on, but sometimes I do). Melee Ahrim with remaining prayer. If I still have prayer left, mage Guthan with protect from melee on. If I don't have prayer left, I still kill him, but I wear Guth body w/ V skirt. I wear Veracs skirt because it has better defence bonus than Guth legs. After that I mage Torag. When I'm through with Torag, I go down into the tunnels. I leave Verac for the tunnels simply because he makes me waste too much food. I always safe mage the melee brothers.

 

 

 

What I also do is what (quite surprisingly) a lot of people don't know about. If let's say I get Torag in the tunnels, and I spawn him in 1 of the little corridors, I simply leave him there and go on and try to spawn him in another room where I can safe him.

 

 

 

Some people may say that banking after every trip is boring and wastes a lot of time. Ya well, since I almost never use any prayer doses, I save a lot more money than you do :P

 

 

 

And just for the record, Barrows is 1337! :P

What do I do once I get into the tunnels?

 

1. Go to a corner room (The room with 4 possiable exits, not 3)

 

2. Go to either the top or side door that leads to evading tunnels*

 

3a. Walk back and forth through the door until a brother spawns

 

3b. If a brother does not spawn and you get alot of creeps on the side of the door with the evading tunnel go to the other door and repeate 3a.

 

3c. If no brother spawns then change rooms and hope for better luck

 

4. Once a brother is spwaned, use a safespot. If your on the side that is the room, there is one tile in the center of the room which cannot be crossed. Have this sqaure in the middle of you and your brother. If your on the side of the door with the evading tunnel, hide behind one of the pile of rocks/rubble*. If your in the room with the rocks, just find a spot on the rocks where the brother cannot pass.

 

5. Once the two brothers are killed, kill creeps. You can kill the creeps you spawned or, find the room that is filled with ONLY bloodworms. Stand in the middle and let the worms attack you. Get Kill Count to desired level (I get 30 for more runes).

 

6. After this find the door which leads to the chest room. It is best if you do this while moving around to a corner room/finding the bloodworm room.

 

7. Run to the door and attempt to open it. Be sure to memorize all the puzzles, this will make it easier for you to open the door. Remember creeps are attacking you so you must be quick. If you cannot be quick enough run to the back of the room so the creep follows. Then run back to the door and open it. YOu should have a few seconds while the creep follows you back to the door.

 

8. Open the chest and snatch your loot.

 

9. Dance for joy if you get an item, if not then be determined you'll get it next run.

 

 

 

* An evading tunnel is the narrow tunnel with all the rocks and debris in it. This tunnel allows you to go from each of the 4 corner rooms without ever having to run through a middle room.

 

 

 

 

 

* Be sure to note that not all the piles of rock/rubble are safe to hide behind. With some of them the brother will walk right up next to you. In this situation you do either:

 

A. Drink your ppot and fight him like a man

 

or

 

B. Flee for your life and spawn him again elsewhere

i do it differently, i use p pots on ahrim and karil. i start on dh and drain my prayer (dont use p pots) then i go guthan, torag finally verac. then i p pot to 36 prayer and pro mage for ahrim. takes me about 1 min 30 to kill ahrim with black knifes. i then use another p pot dose and kill karil, then i use a max of 2 doeses in the tunnel I(btw im 46 prayer).

I simply use guthan, Slayer dart and 2-3 sips of PPots a run. Stay there 15-18 runs normally getting an Item then bank. Rinse repeat.

barrows gets you free runes...therefore free magic exp, and if you do barrows more...you can use those runes...to gain more runes, thus gaining more exp!

Well now it is... When I used to barrow Guthans was in upwards of 20+m

 

 

 

Karil coif was 1m, Bloods 1k each etc etc.

 

 

 

The XP isn't good, but can be fun fow some lower lvl's or to break up the gameplay of clickin.. clickin..clickin...

You should actraully kill Ahrim last considering he uses weaken spells on you and lowers your stats

i dont care about stats, i only mage, and i sumtimes use a rune axe (im cool \ ) to get to 12+ kill count. i just pray on dh, ahrim and karil, lke i said, stats are useless to me.
