They have not got a cast yet but is going to be sweet.

Well, it could be awesome, but it could also turn out badly.

I hope they do well with but you never know. They have some good directors and card is going to be sure to make sure that they won't mess it up.

Getting Card to input on it is a must, to make sure it is what the story is supposed to be. But also he has to realize this is a movie, and movie stories are paced differently than books. With a good director and Card being involved they should be able to find the best way to do it.

Well, there is the Ender's Game series, and there is the Ender's Shadow series. Ender's Game starts with Ender's Game, then Speaker for the Dead, then Xenocide, and lastly Children of the Mind. Ender's Shadow starts with Ender's Shadow, then Shadow of the Hegemon, then Shadow Puppets, then Shadow of the Giant. IBList lists the Ender's Shadow series as being parts 5, 6, 7, and 8 after the Ender's Game series, but I really think they should be separated. It doesn't matter which series you read first, and you could switch back and forth between them if you wanted. Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow take place at the same time, just follow different people. The rest of Ender's Game takes place a thousand (I think) years in the future, and the rest of Ender's Shadow takes place pretty much right after Ender's Shadow.

When you read this part of this series you have to be very patient.

 

When one reads Ender's Game they love it....

 

 

 

...then they expect the rest of the sries to be the same. One has to keep in mind that the rest of the series is totally different. While playing of the events in enders game it requires alot more thought. Often times the first 50 pages are hard to get through but as soon as you do it all makes sise and you can't put the book down. Thats jusy my warning for anyone who reads the great series. The main thing is that they are good books(and in my opinion, the best book ever(besides bible(lol))) and yo will love the series. :D

the only director who could pull this off is Stanley Kubrick, and what with him beingdead and all, odds are on it's going tobe awful

I'm kinda nervous with the director they choose but this could also be Wolfgang Petersen's biggest movie yet. So far he's done..

To get the full essence of the story one has to use both stories. Such as all small things that bean does to contribute to te army. ONe important part will be to show that Bean hand picked dragon army for the best team possible. \

My goodness, they better do a good job one the movies. These were my favourite books of all time! Bean was the best, the whole Bean series rocked.

Hope it turns out good. Paolini wrote the script for Eragon and that turned out really really bad. So we'll see.

Definitely my favorite book of the 2 we had to read before freshman year. Agree, NOM? Did you have to read it as well Reb?
