Tons of people skipped school (obviously nothing happened). It's actually the "unofficial" senior-skip day so uh...probably just a senior prank gone bad. There are lots of jedi. Therefore, with basic maths, half the jedi population in the world could destroy the entire of middle earth. Considering Episode IV came out in 77' so assuming he worked on that for 3 years prior and Episode III came out a year or two ago its closer to 30. Even more reason for a star wars day!
