Keiphus
I'm going for an ice effect... this is just a test... but I wondering if anyone could help me out on what I could do to make it more icey... I was going to add some sort of wavy displacement or something but I dunno... I'm a bit new to this program so my abilities are abit limited.... What else would make this more icey? Eventually it's going to become an ice character... like an ice monster type thing... Thanks..
Ryan
Looking good, but seems too foggy? I think that's right. Yeah, there needs to be a bit more displacement inside the ice and it needs to be more clear.
strider171
it looks more like a sugar cube :? it needs to be more translucent and have more texture to it...right now it looks metallic  the reflection makes it look like a marshamallow well good luck with it
Azvareth
Nice. I think it needs some bubbles/crystals/sparks inside it, that would make it more realistic. Also, some cracks might add to the realism, as well. // Azvi.
Greatsilverwyrm
I think the model itself needs some work. The dead-flatness on the bottom bugs me, as well as the top corners. There should be some irregularities, divets, chips, ect... I've never seen a perfect ice cube :P.
Hera_Angel
For best feedback.. look at the actual object in real life and make it look just like it :D so, make an ice cube and look at it and see how your ice cube should look like :) btw youre right about the wavey effect which is present at most ice cubes but at a larger object it would probably crystallise (sp?), Its winter times if you live in a country were there is snow, try go make a large chunck of snow and pour water over it and wait till the other day and see how it looks like :P Real Life is the best inspiration ;) I am Poseidon, i wreck ships and conjure up storms! J_Rod_The_Ti
Yeah everything that's been said above and also the dripping water looks more like wax then melted ice.
iPee freely
Like Azvi said it needs more, at the moment its too smooth for an ice cube. It needs cracks and flakes around it maybe... Good work though, something new other than Coins etc. Hacked, gaining none buy-able skills.
jabraulter
flip it into ps and add a glass distortion to it. that should give it some ripples
Victim
Top needs to have more of a watery texture methinks..
Guest Chatmasta
It looks hollow. Ice cubes aren't hollow. :P Like wyrm said, it is too perfect. The drops don't look like water, and the whole thing needs to be glossier to make it resemble frozen water. :P
neo_bahumat
ya m8, try and like is mentioned before, addicg cracks, uneven surfaces etc, also its melting yet not losing its shape, if u understand me, something must be melting to form the water, yet the cube isnt changing shape, hard to explain, not bd though, looking forrward to what u create it into :D
vladmoney
I think the model needs work too, ice doesnt really come out like that perfect. Needs bumps. Not big fan of texture eaither, the texture looks more like plastic. Not that i can do better, but its still pretty good.
