I just got Terragen today and I was messing around with it and made this shot I call 'Strait of Tranquility'. Then, I went into PhotoStudio and put some text over it to make a quick sig. Rate it, please. Suggestions welcome.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Extremely simple Terragen sig. I know you got it today, so I suggest looking for a site that gives a basic explanation of what Terragen is, and what you can do with it.

Looks pretty nice for a first try at landscapes. One problem is that the text in the bottom right is almost unreadable.

Did you add a surface map? It looks like you mainly made a terrain. Keep trying, you'll get better at Terragen.

whats the best soft ware to use for sigs?

Well, most people use PhotoShop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other common programs are Terragen, Bryce, Paint Shop Pro.

Yah you can excel much farther in terragen then that, but keep it up =))

try better font, and terragen can do much more than that..

Bad camera choice in my opinion...

 

 

 

The other problems are well under every1 eyes as the fact it's your first try so it's pretty pointless to criticise you on the graphical aspect...

Hmmm.. Knowing what you can do with teragen, I'd say it doesn't really look to good...

Not bad for a first. It would be better if you added a texture, though. The text isn't that good either.
