It's heard that it will come out this year at September 21. It's title is Resident Evil: Extinction. I'm going to watch it and I saw some screenshots. Go to wikipedia for screenshots.

None of the movies were all that good, in my opinion. I love Resident Evil, and the movies were fine but didn't appeal to me. Hopefully the new one might change it. The second Resident Evil was just a lot more cheesy...of course, it always is when based on a video game.

 

 

 

Maybe they should make a movie based on RE4? Now THAT I would totally watch.

I played the games since '96 when I was 13. As an overall I like the first game. I like the movies but I like the games better.

I'd consider watching the movies if they stuck to the actual plot of the game. If they did that, I might watch the movies for Resident Evil 1 (with Lisa Trevor) and Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

Zombies and Mila Jovavich. You bet your boots i'm gunna see it 8-)

They're using the same actors so it's a series :wink:

 

 

 

I personally think that the first Resident Evil game is the best.

resident evil is my all time favorite game series ever...i bought a game cube just for that game alone. i was kind of mad when they started releasing them for the other systems anyway though lol...when it was clear for a while they wern't going to...

 

 

 

i'll see it just because i love resident evil...i think my favorite was RE2...the first one i played over my uncles house

 

 

 

i got to the 2nd suit key and then had to go home lol...i was addicted to i bought it myself

 

 

 

my mom was appalled when she saw the game and said i can't play it with other kids over :cry:

 

 

 

anyway...greatest game series of all time...so i will definitely be seeing it

Yea.. the Resident Evil games are excellent. Movies are a little dissapointing from a Game-Movie comparison, but by themself, very well done :)

 

 

 

Second is a little... iffy. Might've just been the zombie concerntration felt to be a bit too low :-? Anyhow, the third should be pretty good. If it keeps pace with the first two anyways. Anything slower and it wouldn't feel right.

I'm not a big fan of the movies but i def love the games.. I think the games are waaay better than the movies.... The movies kinda bore me..

I am super excited about this. I loved both of the other movies, especially the second one (but I have been told this is only because I have never played the games). I am happy that they are coming out with the sequel now. I knew that they were going to because of the ending of the second one and I can't wait to watch it. 8-)
