Make your own spell book

I was told i would get slated for this idea but here goes

 

 

 

sorry if posted before.

 

 

 

My idea is simple

 

 

 

To have the ability via your POH to make your own Spell book combining spells from all the different spell books.

 

 

 

You build a new structure in the study with 3 differant lvl requirements

 

 

 

1st lvl - contruction lvl 35 - Forest Temple - you can make a spell book which can hold spells up to lvl 35

 

 

 

2nd Lvl - contruction lvl 65 - Mountain Temple - you can make a spell book which holds spells up to lvl 60

 

 

 

3rd and final lvl - contruction lvl 86 - Earth Temple - you can make a spell book which holds spells up to lvl 99

 

 

 

Just and idea could be useful probably wont ever happena anyway but liked it.

i think this will be kewl but overpowered... cuz you cant know what spells the other player has... like tb, god spells combinated with lunar and ice barrage!

Won't work. You're supposed to have to choose between the books for different advantages and disadvantages. You shouldn't have all those advantages open on the same book.

yes what he said also this would go in the study and thats a 40+ room so first one needs to be 40+ and also the lvl should be for amount of spells not lvl can put in book (or leave that the same and how many spells depends on magic lvl like my 80 mage will let me put 20 spells in the book)

A mixed spell book, good idea but noobs will complain to much. I mean think.

 

 

 

My spell book would be

 

cure plant (come in handy)

 

Barb assult tele

 

moon clan tele

 

edgeville tele

 

watchtower tele

 

slayer dart

 

house tele

 

stat spy

 

monster examine

 

Npc contact

 

ice barrage

 

entangle

 

flames of zammy

 

sara strike

 

claws of guthix

 

high alchemy

 

all enchant spells

 

tele block

 

what more do you need.

 

 

 

see way overpowered, and to convenat. Jagex did not make rs to be fair.

You never said how many spells each book contained.

 

 

 

even if its only 5... it will still be overpowered... :roll:

I agree with the fact that this idea could be vastly overpowered, however I have a small suggestion that could fix this.

 

 

 

When constructing your Spell Book, you must pay for each spell you add. Each spell would cost a different amount based on the type of spell, and overall power of the spell.

 

 

 

 

 

So for example, an Enchant Spell could probably cost 100gp/level in your classic book, while an Attack Spell may cost you 500gp/level or 300gp/level for a Teleport Spell or other spell.

 

 

 

In your Ancient Spells, you'd probably get 1000gp/level for Attack Spells and 300gp/level for Teleports.

 

 

 

Lunar Spells would probably be 300gp/level for teleports, 200gp/level for Support/Skill related spells (check knowledge base for that terminology), and 700gp/level for the Vengeance Spells.

 

 

 

 

 

So for the Spell Book listed below, this is what you'd be looking at for this custom spell book...

 

 

 

 

 

cure plant - 13.2k (lv66)

 

moon clan tele - 20.7k (lv69)

 

stat spy - 15k (lv75)

 

monster examine - 13.2k (lv66)

 

Npc contact - 13.4k (lv67)

 

 

 

watchtower tele - 17.4k (lv58)

 

house tele - 12k (lv40)

 

slayer dart - 25k (lv50)

 

entangle - 39.5k (lv79)

 

flames of zammy - 30k (lv60)

 

sara strike - 30k (lv60)

 

claws of guthix - 30k (lv60)

 

high alchemy - 16.5k (lv55)

even if you pay 5mil for that spell book above... its still overpowered (if you know how to use it) how hard would it be to pk with that? :wall:

 

 

 

it would be like:

 

looking for noobs under 30 wildy, tb, barrage and then they are confused and you can whip them to death... and when they run just freez or entangel them again...

 

 

 

noobs above 30 wildy... barrage and tb to be sure he doesnt tele by a portal etc... and then keep freezing, whipping fighting with god spells...

 

 

 

i think the only way to survive then is go as mage or be a ranger...

well do you know there is a litle bit of logic in the idea because in real ( if there was magic like books ) you learn a spell and you wont forget it so if you coudl use all the spells whenever you want is logical but thats not the game so i hafly support

How does 20 minutes turn into 2.5 hours? Was your math perhaps magical math?

in cw i was with full black dhide 79 def 80 mage and mage pro prayer on and i was still getting hit by ice barrage so even rangers will have a hard time surviving
