Temple Trekking/ Burgh de Rott Ramble setups

What tactics do you use? What food do you give your compagnon?

Note that this is all based on taking the weakest charachter on the most difficult paths...

Wielding:

Helm of Neitiznot

Fury Amulet

Proselyte Platebody

Proselyte Platelegs

Rune Boots

Barrows Gloves

Zamorak Book

Dragon Dagger with Super Poison

Guthix Cloak

In Inventory:

Rod of Ivandis (10)

Rod of Ivandis (x)

Guthix Balance Potion (4)

Guthix Balance Potion (x)

Druid Pouch

Salve Amulet

Prayer Potion (4)

Prayer Potion (x)

Holy Wrench

Ectophial

Darklight

Abyssal Whip or Dragon Scimitar

Tuna Potato

Tuna Potato

Tuna Potato

Tuna Potato

The rest is empty space.

I may substitute the Darklight with something else if it proves that it performs less on Vampyre Juvenates. I COULD substitute it for a charged Rellekkan Lyre (which is where my POH is), to recharge my prayer and tele back to Canifis.

Either that or I bring my Rune Axe so I dont have to kill zombies for it.

The food I give my compagnon is either Chocolate Cakes (they seem to eat the entire cake in 1 bite, where we have to chew 3 times), or Lobsters/Bass. Bass is easy to replenish because you can fish it right there at the docks.

What is yours? and why?

I wear:

Neitiznot helm

Fury

Fighter Plate

Verac Skirt

Berserker Ring

Rune Boots

Rune Defender

Whip

Carry:

1 prayer pot

Home Tele

Knife

Axe

Red Chinchompies

Rod of Ivandis

Guthix Balance

Pouches

Blessed Silver Sickle

Rest is some lobbies

I use lobbies on the trekker because thats one reward from the game.

I take the lowest one on the hardest path (girl/forester)

I usually start with red chins wielded so I can get all the monsters attention.

If I don't then the trekker gets killed by shades real easy.

I pray and use whip mostly.

Recharge at the church above the fighting trekkers using the shortcut.

If I need more pouches then I get in the minigame after killing the ghasts.

If I lose then i use home tele then karylel portal or whatever back to cannifus.

I've done about 50 treks each way according to the signpost.

Care to explain that one? Is there a prayer altar inside Paterdomus?

There's a Level 65 shortcut over the fence to the Temple on the Salve. There is an altar inside.

Wielding:

Helm of Neitiznot

Glory Amulet (didnt have fury til recently)

Proselyte Platebody

Proselyte Platelegs

Boots of Lightness

Barrows Gloves

Zamorak Book

Dragon Dagger with Super Poison

Spottier cape

In Inventory:

Rod of Ivandis (10)

Guthix Balance Potion (4)

Druid Pouch

Prayer Potion (4)

Home Teletab

Abyssal Whip

Lobster x 4

Knife (for giant snakeskins)

Snelm (make u immune to giant snail attacks)

There is soo much good loot while doing the trekkin that u need the extra space. You can also take a chisel if u want to do some craftin of other snelms (I sold a blue snelm for 15k one time for someone doin cluey)

I usually get all my mushrooms for the pouch near the nature grotto so I can recharge there. I ended up with extra clothes but they were worthless since they are untradeable.

I figured out the best way to get Lumberjack outfit quick was the easy path and easy tourists. The key to using the rod is to make sure u have juves down to 50% health before u do the special then u own them with the potion. Only got the vampire on steroids one time.

Why a Snelm, when you can protect form Range?

Snelm gives u an immunity to their range attack so u dont have to pray vs range. U can save prayer for something that will actually hit u like the vampire juves.
