I've met them and there kool, There what you called 'Post Metal' Thanks, They don't 'whine' or spit in peoples faces, I've seen them live before.

Because it was genarally called "indie rock"(where indie meant independant artists) and people can still call it that if they want. It's still correct.

 

 

 

But nowadays indie has it's own type of sound which is unique.
