Stats for Strength Pure

40 attack

60+ strength

1 defence

1/40 range

1/31 pray

1/59 mage (59 mage is for fire blast)

Pures cost a lot of money. To get money, you can go air running in world

16 and merchant some stuff. 200k will be sufficient.

Preparation

Go to Al-Kharid and buy every scimitar from Zeke except bronze, and

dont even bother hunting for a black scimmy, with the money you pay

for it, you could probably buy an addy scimmy. Buy an addy (optional) and rune scimmy from other players.

Buy a couple of sets of full iron just in case you lose it. You can buy

a few green d'hide vambs and chaps if you wish to get 40 range.

Training Melee

Go to the dummies located across from the bank east of Varrock.

There, train your attack to 8.

Wear your full iron and wield your iron scimmy with your steel scimmy

in your inven. Train on the chickens in Lumbridge across from the

cows near the toll gate. Get your attack to 5 then wield your steel scimmy.

Then continue training your attack and strength to 20. Collect the feathers

and sell them for 5-10gp each.

Walk across the road to the cows. If this aread is too crowded, go to the

cows next to the Crafting Guild. There is usually no one there. Train your attack to 20, equip your mith scimmy, then keep training your attack

and strength to 30.

Next, go to the monastery which is located in between Barbarian Village

and Falador. There are level 5 monks there. There is no need to bring

food, because if you talk to them, they will heal you, and they dont

inflict that much damage. Before you start training on them, equip

your addy scimmy if you bought one, or just continue using your mith

scimmy. Train on monks until your attack and strength is 40. Then wield

your rune scimmy.

Dont go PKing yet, atleast get 50 strength. To 50 strength, you can keep

on training on monks, or if monks are getting boring, try barbarians.

Dont raise your attack anymore. Just keep training strength. For the next

area, get your strength to 50. You can start PKing now, or if you want

to train range and/or magic before you go, keep reading.

Training Range

Buy a leather cowl, leather body, leather vambs and leather chaps.

Wear them. Wield the shortbow you were given from Tutorial Island.

Buy about 5000 bronze arrows.

First, train your range on chickens.

Get it to 20-25. Collect the feathers and sell them 5-10gp each or you

can use them for fishing.

Next, to the cows. You can go to the ones near the toll gate or next to

the Crafting Guild. I suggest the Crafting Guild, theres hardly anyone there, so no one will steal your arrows. Train your range to 30-35.

Then to barbarians. In the building north of Barbarian Village are barbarians which are slightly higher in level than those in the centre.

The ones in the "long hall" are level 15/17. Thats where youre going to

train. Be careful though, some of the barbarians in there use ranged

weapons too. Here, train your range to 40, and wear the green d'hide

vambs and chaps.

If you want to train magic too, read on.

Training Magic

You can train your magic to whatever you want. In F2P, after 59 magic,

there are really no other good spells after that. Now, to the training.

Use wind strike on the chickens where you trained melee and range.

Get 25 mage. Or if you dont want any hp levels, go to the palace

in Varrock. After you go through the large doors, there is a staircase.

Under it is a cage with a Zamm mage trapped in it. Keep casting

confuse and weakens. Confuse, weaken and curse spells wont give you

any hp levels. Get 25 mage.

You can leave mage there, for teles, or if you want 59 for fireblast,

you can keep casting confuse, weakens and curses on the Zamm mage.

By the way, if you want to use confuse, weaken and curse spells, wear

melee armour so that it will reduce your magic bonus. You should do

a couple of strike and bolt spells just to get your hp up a little. You dont

want your hp too high or too low.

After 25 mage, cast a few strike and bolt spells on the lesser in the

Wizards Tower for a few hp levels.

Im not too sure whats good after 25 mage, if anyone could tell me,

that would be fabulous.

PKing

At last, its time to start PKing! Wear iron full helm, iron platebody,

green d'hide chaps and vambs and if you want, cape, boots and gloves

for a bit of extra bonus. Go solo PKing in Edge, because if you go into

Varrock wilderness, teams will gang up on you and kill you quickly.

Your inventory should have -

1 rune 2h (to KO), 1 or 2 strength pots, runes to bind and fire

blast, arrows (preferably steel-addy) and a maple short, the rest with

lobs or swordfish.

If youre going to mage, melee and range, dont bring melee armour.

It will reduce your magic bonus and youll hit many 0s. If youre going

to use all 3, wear a blue wizard hat, monk robe top (if you have pray)

or blue wizard top, green d'hide chaps and vambs and a power or

strength ammy.

If youre just going to range, carry with you -

1 rune 2h (to KO ((optional))), 1 or 2 strength pots, one kind of arrow

(preferably steel-addy), maple short, rest fill with lobs or swordfish.

Wear a coif, green d'hide chaps and vambs, power/strength/accuracy

ammy, and for your top wear monk robe top.

If youre just going to mage, in your inventory you should have -

Runes to bind and fire blast, 1 or 2 strength pots, rest fill with lobs

or swordfish.

Wear a blue wizard hat, wizard top and blue skirt, or if you pray,

wear full monk, a magic ammy and wield a fire/air staff.

If youre just meleeing, your inventory -

1 rune 2h, 1 or 2 strength pots, rest fill with lobs or swordfish.

Wear iron full helm, iron plate, green d'hide chaps and vambs and cape,

boots and gloves are optional, rune scimmy.

Nice guide! =D> My freind wants me to make a F2P pure with him and I will definatly use this guide. Also you should add quests part. If you do Vampire Slayer at 1 attack [Mage or Range it] You will go from 1 to 20 attack with the reward.

Dummies do not give HP experience. Neither do quests. Less HP= Greater chance of you getting KO'ed= A crappy pker.

Attack- 40/40 DONE!

Strength- 54/70

Range- 60/80

Mage-40/60

CB level- 44

^^^ actually i recall a guide on the forums that says as long as your killing other level 60s, its good to have a low-semi low hp because its kinda like training defense, you dont really need it.

but a pretty good guide, I make think about training a pure

You can't be more wrong. More Hp = better changes of survival, if you want low HP, go ahead, but you will be KO'ed quickly with that.

I think you could have made it less boring ie. bolds colours pictures ect. It was a lot better than I had expected reading that you considered 200k to be a large sum of money (oh noes here we go again) but it wasn't bad.

Golden Sun= the best game ever made?

Farming and construction are dumb. I am proud to have level 1 in both.

31 prayer is an incredible waste. it raises ur cb lvl by 3 or so. with that, u can gain 12+ strength lvls and still the same cb as if u had 31 prayer. only reason to get 31 prayer is if ur 99 str.

8/10 good information yet no pictures.

Also, I would spend alot more on my f2p pures than 200k. Considering 5k bronze arrows is around 100k, scim is 25k and 2h is 50k, so 25k on lobs, wheres the stre pots?

I would start at 400k being sufficient. You should also put in tips on how to KO with 2h, like when there hp is low (say like 2, they eat a lob, its 14, rune 2h hits 14 or better you get the ko)

If you already have 8 attack from the dummies, how are you going to get 5 from chickens? And if u get 8 att from dummies, u dont need to buy an iron scimmy.
