New Comic: "The Runescape Life Comic"

Hi all,

 

 

 

Mods feel free to move this thread if it's in the wrong place.

 

 

 

I've been thinking about doing a Runescape comic which kind of highlights some things about runescape or about just playing runescape which you might find funny.

 

 

 

I admit I can't draw and there isn't much variation to the pictures, but it's a start. The underlining concept I believe is still there.

 

 

 

So far I've only done two comics and the second one is more realistic than the first.

Not really that great, you need to work on your drawing skills, especially perspective, and use some colour, or at least some nice thick lines, it looks wierd just drawn in thin pencil strokes.

 

 

 

Work on your ideas as well, these seem more like a set up to a long comic story, rather than standalone pieces, which they should be right now.

the last one is pretty cool "I wish I could take a day off", I feel like some people feel that about MMORPGs. Drawing quality isn't high, but you get the point across

i dont really like that you show RS players as no-lifers, but thats my personal opinion.

 

about the drawings... cmon theyre stick figures that a 5 year old can make. lets be realistic they aint that good. maybe a bit more effort would help

....anyway, I liked the comics but the art could deffinitly be better. a little color and better drawings would be nice.

I wish I could draw better but I was never good at drawing anything... this might mean it'll stay as stick figures forever unless someone is good at graphics and me some models of people, computers, etc or something :P

 

 

 

I wasn't trying to say everyone who played Runescape was addicted or plays all day long, but in this comic that's one of the main thing that's happening. I've know someone who has played Runescape everyday for in total about 2-3 years, so I'm getting my ideas from them. Think of it as a way of finding out if you play RS too much :-k

You seem to have missed the "humor" part of your comic. Honestly, I didn't even really smile a bit at it, just kind of .... :-s

Nadril if you didn't like it you don't need to say "don't post", just ignore the topic.

 

 

 

They were pretty funny, specially the melting part. But yeah, you should really try to make your drawings less sketchy, even simple solid lines would work great (which can be made in Paint easy)
