maximus
Well i recently came into some money and went out and got a new sexy laptop. \ For convenience i ordered the special "Touch-Screen" addon which allows me to control the mouse by simply touching the screen. I've gotten it all set up and played a few games on it. But i've played runescape on it and being able to simple touch rocks or trees makes it alot easier when im multitasking. But i was wondering recently because touching the screen simply simulates a click and not the mouse movement. I believe random clicks are whta Jagex detect when looking for botters. And me touching trees and such without moveing the mouse to it might make it seem like im botting. :uhh: I'm somewhat scared now and dont want to get banned. :ohnoes: Does anyone else use touchscreen or ever been banned for using it? Thanks ~Maxi Long since retired.
NightHawK
You shouldnt get banned unless you are wcing for 3 hours straight doing the exact movements each time you bank www.di-rs.com
Natasa777
i don't think you can get banned for that. jagex probably can't register mouse movement, only clicks, but i'm not sure about that. refresh to see another sigF2p forever

The_Dragon_Reborn
You should be fine. Your allowed to change the setting on your computer so that you can use the number pad instead of the mouse, why shouldn't you be able to do this? ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet. Celestrana
If this is a real concern for you, email Jagex's Customer support and get a response straight from the horse's mouth. They'll most likely tell you that they can't reveal how they detect macroers/bots but at least you'll get peace of mind. maximus
They pretty much told me that i'll most likely not get banned. But that their detection system is automated... so if im to paranoid i should just use either the mousepad or an optional USB mouse -_-' Long since retired. Tim
you should be safe, its not a 3rd party thing-a-ma-jig. so its 100% legal seeing its part of the computer or in your case, laptop. Popoto.~<

l0rdbarney
You shouldnt get banned unless you are wcing for 3 hours straight doing the exact movements each time you bank ya maybe talk a bit every 10+ minutes, just dont repeat ur exact movements and if some nubface starts spamming u asking if ur a macroer, make sure u reply so they dont report u, dont ignore ppl or theyll just assume ur not there pure:demon_x_king
Seanthorn
Best thing to do is e-mail them... acctually no that isnt. Cause they always send you the same e-mail back. "We're very busy in the JaGex offices, and we couldn't come to the attention of your e-mail.. blah blah" Erm... As your still playing the game, and technically, your still clicking, it shouldn't be any harm. Anyway, if they do ban you, you have a good reason to appeal against it.
