trunksrs
Wow good find.. Just surprising it took so long for someone to posted that? If you click via minimap to the direct spot of trapdoor, wouldn't your guy take the shorter path? I think you always tried to go that way, but the weeds kept stopping you, so just clicking on the mini map was a waste of time, you'd have to actually click north of the bar, and then go around it. no if you clicked on the mini map it would take you round the north, never does clicking on the other side of an obstacle on the mini-map treat you like a lemming and attempts to walk you into a wall... If the program can't find a way around an obstacle, than, yes, it will. It you will walk as close to your target as you can get. This happens alot if the section of the map were path around the obstacle is, has not yet loaded. Probably what happened is I had this happen once, and then got in the habbit of just clicking around the tavern. Look, if your mom still drops you off at school, you ain't gangsta, pull up your damn pants!3 down, 7 to go

It's a fairy ring teleport that brings you to a cavern near the cave route to the hallows. Majin_Numark
I found out about this last night, as well. When standing in the bank, I would always just click on the area of the trap door on the mini map and would just walk around the bar the long way. Last night, I did as normal, yet my character started walking the other way. I thought something was wrong and I'd get stopped, but he just walked right through the weeds and stopped in front of the trap door. Definately a great thing for barrows users who go that direction. :)
