June 13, 200719 yr I'm not much of a Metallica fan, I occcasionally play a few tracks but I can't seem to listen to more then 3 at a time without getting bored, they use so many same chords and voice intonations it's not normal. The songs I like are mostly their commercial ones like Nothing Else Matters and One, they're allright. 99 Slayer since August 2007.

June 18, 200719 yr The Black Album was Metallica's final good album. The albums like Load or ReLoad are terrible. I'd rather buy the albums rather than the singles, since you can listen to the songs that are released as singles in the whole album. First - Credit to Otbg . Second - Credit to 4be2jue
June 18, 200719 yr My favorite album was either RTL or Master of Puppets. Master of Puppets has some wicked brutal songs, like Battery. And Ride the Lightning has For Whom the Bell Tolls, my all time favorite song. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.
