OK, after 80 strength, I will definitely craft. For some reason, melee combat doesn't excite me like it use to.

I like skewering monsters from a distance or peppering them with great balls of fire

<25k to the person to tell me the song reference in my post>

Isn't it a song called "great balls of fire"? It appeared on SYTYCD...

Good enough? :)

I was thinking of the one by Jerry Lee Lewis, but, SYTYCD is good enough :D

Ooh, never noticed 300 posts <3:

[hide=Long and boring history... Consider yourself warned!]

Yeah, new person. My name is !@#$%^&* (Not telling it ;)) (RL name) but, my RSN/ingame name is Oylimpiana and my typical forums name is Moonshadow. Yeah, three personalities... your going to have fun with this one :P. I could give you an accurate description of how I found Runescape, but, that would take a while, but, if you really want to hear the monologue, I do remember it.

I started playing the June before last sometime near the end of June and near early July. I am thinking sometime after June 22nd because I remember seeing the update on the 22nd when I first went on the site. I signed up with an old stock name, intending to spam the game to advertise a different game, because of reasons I might explain if you want to hear. I figured if I was to spam this game, I might want to get to know it a bit, so, I could choose the most effective location. I quickly started liking the game and wondering why it was so looked down upon. I kept playing for a few hours but, then I died.

I spawned back in Lumbridge, and, the items I got from tutorial island were gone, and, I had thought they had gone forever. I was irritated, so, I started another account. This cycle kept going for a few more accounts, but, then when I started Oylimpiana, (I wanted a Greek sounding name with a relation to history and something without numbers) I died, but, I decided to ask the highest leveled person I could find for advice. I asked some level 30, he looked like he was experienced, and, he gave me a tinderbox. I thought he was crazy for giving me this item he couldn;t get back. He laughed and told me you could get plenty more of them. I soon learned he was correct, and, I soon pursued my passion. Mining and Smithing.

I asked a person where the best place to mine was, but, I had no help. Someone eventually told me that I should go west because there was a mine in a cave system out there near a mountain. I went west along the road until I could go no further. I was in Rimmington, completely lost. I decided to retrace my steps and I eventually backtracked to an area near Draynor Village. I opened up the runescape map and looked where Falador was, and I found the mountain above Falador. I went to the mine, bought a pickaxe, and feverishly started mining copper and tin, banking it in Falador and Smithing it into weapons to sell to the store. I earned at least 10k this way, and, when I could, I bought myself a mithril pickaxe. I felt like a million bucks. I kept doing this until I was about 45 in both mining and smithing. I hardly left that mine for about 2 months. I did do quests and such, and a bit of combat, but, I focused on mining and smithing. I eventually got to the point where I wanted to explore all the other things in runescape. It was so vast. So large and so much to do in so little time. I didn't know what to do first!

I tried woodcutting, didn't really like it, I also tried firemaking, but, I liked it about as much as woodcutting. I figured I should start getting to a decent combat level with my newly smithed steel set. I fought until I was about 50 combat in full steel. I learned the path of the warrior and learned what I could kill. I was very irritated that I would be worn down so quickly though. I had heard that fish were a great source of food, but, where do I fish? I had no idea. But, I remember seeing this great port near the sea when I was looking for Falador. I remember a shop where I could buy fishing equipment. I started looking for that place, but, I couldn't find it. I look near Draynor, and, I see ocean. I follow it, and sure enough, there is the port I remembered seeing. I bought a net and started fishing near the opposite coast near the beach. I fished there until I was about level 30 fishing. I ditched my bait and pole for a fly fishing rod and about 25 feathers. I went up to the chickens and killed myself about 300 feathers, so, I would be fishing for a while. I banked, cooked and used every fish until I was about level 40 fishing when I could fish lobsters.

I started my path as a fisherman and eventually broadened to crafting, to which I had no clue of. I started with basic pottery, mining clay and soaking it to make bowls, pots, and pie dishes. I eventually got to the point where I could use cowhides. I eventually broadened to all the skills, and, I was playing, and I loved it. I even started to use magic and ranged combating. The day came when I started getting better and honing my talent. I started making friends, experimenting with fansites, and becoming more social and more experienced. The rest is a blur, and, it is hard to tell you what I did, but, that is my history as a player. It is long, and, you probably are sick of reading this. My hands are cold, and I don't feel like typing much longer, so, I have joined this clan because I wanted to make friends with other F2P players like myself which I can relate to a bit easier runescape-wise.

I trained at flesh crawlers from 60-70 def, and 55-60 att/str, and i didn't even know they dropped chaos, deaths, and arrows.
