June 16, 200719 yr *******New Zilch Song - Lullaby (Featuring Boats.) Is now realeased! Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/zilchownz ******* Zilch Members: Sam-Guitar Ben-Drums/Vocals (me) Jake-Guitar/Snare drums Josh-Vocals/Drums Featured Bands Boats-Guitar/Vocal Death Makes You Die (Kyle)-Vocals G-Fizz(Jon)-Vocals Me, my brother, and his friend Jon one day decided to make a band. We were inspired by the song "Destroy Everything" by Hatebreed. We gathered together some instruments. These involved two guitars, and a drum set. Together on this day, we made two screamo songs. These were titles Shut Up!, and Screamo Emo. After making these two songs, we decided to take a break. Zilch did not record anymore songs for around 3 months. One day, my friend Boats came over and thought the songs before were brilliant and asked to play in a few songs. We said we would gladly feature him in a song or two. We recorded two more songs. These two really changed the style of Zilch. We went from heavy screamo to alternative rock. The two songs we made was Alone (Thinking About It), and Lullaby. Alone was about Boat's past, and Lullaby is about running from the law. Only a week later, another person came over and was inspired by the four curent tracks. He was in a small similar band called "Death Makes You Die." It was mainly death metal, like what Zilch was ment to be. Instead of a solid metal track, we made a mix of death metal and alternative blues. This song is titled death came. The lyrics are very deep and were song with all of his heart. This song is about the death in Kyle's family. Three weeks later Zilch decided to feature yet another band- Da Slokeums. We produced one song, called Dark Star. AFter realizing the power in the music, we decided to team up.......permanently. Jon was kicked out of the band for Da Slokeums. Together we created three more brilliant tracks, Say Good-Bye, Stosh, and Bright Star(Dark Star Pt. 2) Current album lineup (In order) and rating out of ten. Shut Up! 8/10 Alone (Thinking About It) 10/10 (Best on Album) Dark Star 10/10 Bright Star 6/10 Lullaby 7/10 Stosh 5/10 Death Came 8/10 Screamo Emo 7/10 Say Good-Bye 9/10 We have currently produced two music videos, check them out at http://www.youtube.com/zilchownz Our album is titles Shut Up! and will be released sometime in august. We are going to ask iTunes to put it on, for charity of coarse! The money we recieve will be donated to help out the crisis in Darfur. You can expect one more music video single before the realease, so stay tuned!
June 16, 200719 yr Wow what the heck, you all are terribad. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

June 16, 200719 yr Wow what the heck, you all are terribad. Some well known guy in the WoW rogue forums has been using that recently, as his own "copyrighted" saying (lol). Did you just say it out of no where or where did it come from? /offtopic
June 16, 200719 yr OMG MY F****** Ears are bleeding! Thats one of the most horrible things i have ever heard, never make another band again.. I feel like beating the hell out of myself after hearing that. Check out my friends drum solo... It's actually good unlike your mess http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FueVUqLvUO4
June 16, 200719 yr The band is ok for a start, but several things must be improved if you want to make it in the long run: Shortness - Your songs are FAR too short, add some more lyrics to them so they extend to at least 2 and a half minutes. Also, do not repeat the same lyrics over and over again, use more lyrics so you actually can stretch it out longer Drumming - The dumming is too coarse and andom, it is just continuous banging of one thing, which might not even be a drum :? Give the drumming more melody, more rythm and a good beat, its just continuous and doesn't sound very good. Take a look at some MCR and B182 music vids in youtube to get an idea for what your dumming can sound like Vocals - This needs to be fixed, like the drumming, it is continuous and you are singing the same lyrics over and over again which don't even make sense. Instead incessantly yelling over and over again, sing with rythm and melody. Think of inspiring lyrics. Think of problems in the world and sing about that, or sing about your own past experiences. I know you're going fo the metal emo sound sort of thing, but this is not the way to sing it. The Shup Up video clip however gave me the biggest laugh of my life

The Shup Up video clip however gave me the biggest laugh of my life Well for the shortness, we are planning on making around 25 songs that are a little more than a minute. We thought that this would make the album alot less repetative with more different songs. For the drumming, that was my first time ever drumming in the song Shut Up! I am trying to improve. (BTW That IS me in that mask :D) Vocals: Well the songs are actually about more than what the appear to be. Most of our songs are metaphores to something else. To truly understand the song, you have to understand the metaphores. For example the song "Dark Star" is really about Josh's past.
June 16, 200719 yr What the hell. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
June 16, 200719 yr I saw your sig and thought, God if he sings anywhere near as badly as he pixels, this is gonna be funny, I was right.... Sig by me....
June 16, 200719 yr Author Thanks for all the good replys and the contrsuctive criticizm. We are currently practising up for our next song that is currently not titled. It will contain extreme drumming, beuatiful lyrics, and a thirty second guitar solo by Sam. After practicing and putting it all together, this song will be over two minutes.

I'd rather listen to a crying child than your 'music'.
June 16, 200719 yr No but seriously, it's probably the worst "Music" I have ever heard in my entire life. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
June 16, 200719 yr Author If you think we are so bad, could you please tell us how we could improve? Our new song that is currently in development WILL take all constructive criticism into consideration. So, just stay tuned and watch four our next single from the album Shut Up!
June 17, 200719 yr Learn to play instruments. To be honest, beyond repair. I wouldn't class it as music. Just give up. June 17, 200719 yr Author You mean this wasn't a joke? What?!!??! Who said this was a joke? This is serious music. We play our music with all of our hearts. The songs are about our sad pasts. Some are even about death, and how much suffering it has caused us, such as in "Death Came." @Satenza Why would we give up? We have been four months in production, we spent so so so so so much time into our music. We spent nearly our whole life into the produciton of our debut album, Shut Up! We were very excited about the replys we would get, and at first it was ok. But now everyone is saying stuff like "No but seriously, it's probably the worst "Music" I have ever heard in my entire life." I am really hurt right now, you guys have shattered my dreams of stardom. I hope you are happy now.
June 17, 200719 yr Learn to play instruments. To be honest, beyond repair. I wouldn't class it as music. Just give up. oh my god i cant beleive you. the guitar is awesome, but i agree the drums could use some work. THe vocals are amazing i rate the band 8/10 i actually liked it
June 17, 200719 yr purelime you must be on drugs if you think thats music... However after reviewing this I come to a conclusion that he is trying to be funny and say he worked hard on this band he probbly made it up in 10 minutes because even the editing sucks.
June 17, 200719 yr no, im serious. These guys actually have talent, and a huge potential for greatness on the final album. YOU must be on drugs if you think this is bad
June 17, 200719 yr I'm sorry i dont like "music" that causes me to bleed from the ears. :XD: You probbly know them in real life or this is you on a different account because nobody in there right mind would consider that trash music... Because Music is suppose to be delightful not painful
