Rebdragon
[...] Are just spacers since this forum automatically moves stuff over -.- . Ignore them. ______________________________ |..........................................................| |..........................................................| |........____________..........................| |.......|....................|........Room 2........| |.......|....................|___o___o___o__| |.......| |.......|______________ |.............[].[].[]..............| |.....................................| |................Room 1..........| |___________________| There are three switches [] in a Room, labeled room 1. They all look identical, but each one only goes to one specific lightbulb o in Room 2. You are only allowed to go through the corridor once, and since it bends you can't see Room 2 from Room 1 or vice versa. Using only your brain to help you (i.e., not tools, like mirrors) how do you figure out which switch goes to which lightbulb by going through the corridor from Room 1 to Room 2 only once? (If you're heard it before, common curtosy, don't answer :P ). [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. Rebdragon
Maybe ask another person to stand in the second room and tell you? Knew I'd leave a thing or two out in my wording >_<. You can't use ANYTHING except your own brain and body to figure out which switch goes to which light bulb. Safety in numbers. Only you forgot the Y towards the end. there should be 28Y before the 2167 4 seconds is correct. In one of my posts/ first post it says it is a population. Sorry I was really tired when I posted that one. Heres another one. This one is more of a math question. How many people do you need in a room to half a 50% chance that two of them will share the same birthday? And another tougher one: Abigal, Brodget, and Claudia often eat dinner out. Each orders coffe or tea after dinner If abigal orders coffe then bridget orders the drink that claudia orders. If bridget orders coffe then abigal orders the drink that claudio doesn't order. If claudia orders tea, then Abigail orders the drink that bridget orders. What do you know always orders the same drink after dinner?
