mroseto
I am thinking about playing around with the anchor and ancient mace down in the Wyverns. It would think to me that the anchor should reduce their def. I have 99 atk and 97 str and still throw a lot of zeros up. Along that lines I was also thinking about the ancient mace down there. do you think it a viable option to use, to potentially save on pray pots? What do you think. Abyssalwhip
Well, the Ancient Mace drains the full bar and has horrible stats so you could get like 12 more PP so use the anchor. Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
leedragon8
While i fish at Monkfish Isle, I spec out on the Skeleton Mages here. I notice that I rarely hit...And those are puny compared to what you are dealing with, and I don't have that much of garbage stats. Personally, I would choose the hard-hitting anchor over the small prayer giving mace. 3,200 to 99 FishingAchieved August 25, 2007
Darkluniux
The problem with the anchor, is that the stat reduced is completely random, so it is not sure that you will reduce defence. http://darkluniux.blogspot.comBehold my blog! spikerkid
The +6 iah prayer isn't worth a full special bar. Bring anything else, anything you choose will be better. Quit RuneScape :)
Ts_Stormrage
Ancient Mace spec is usefull for things like Temple Trekking. At Wyverns, I'd much rather use a dark bow spec, to do certified damage. If you wish to lower the defense of your target, a Charged Guthix Claws is the way to go. You may also consider Snipe special attack from the Dorgeshuun xbow... Majin_Numark
When I use up my special bar on Wyverns, I choose to just use the dds special 4 times. It's especially useful after potting, and even if not, you have the chance to throw some poison in the mix. But, there is nothing wrong with experimenting down there to see what works best for you.
