June 27, 200719 yr Ok, so I know basically anything that alchs for over 300 gp is good, but im gonna be smithing my own items. For example, steel meds and steel plates. I wanna know if there is anything else that is easy to buy though. Also, i saw someone alching yew logs. are those any good? Shanks -Ammo- I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.
June 27, 200719 yr buying green vambraces is done as well... buying them off forums (no need to post, just pm the person selling)
June 27, 200719 yr I would go with steel plate. June 27, 200719 yr The most profitable would be rune longs bought for 15k, alched for 19.2(i think). But ppl are catching on to that, and dont sell for 15 anymore. Rune meds work too. Neither is good for training, being so hard to obtain and all. Try steel plates (buy for 1kea or smith), alchs for 1.2k each. Another thing is green dragon hide, if u can get a member whos training his crafting lvl to sell u some cheap, forums mostly. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.
June 28, 200719 yr Steel Plates. You don't see many people selling Rune Meds for 10k, they normally sell for 15k. ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
June 28, 200719 yr Author Steel Plates. You don't see many people selling Rune Meds for 10k, they normally sell for 15k. But in order to get smithing exp i want to smith my own items. If i buy the steel bars, i use 5 bars (Costing around 2.5k) and only gain 1.1k. -300gp per the nats. So should i just make my own bars? June 28, 200719 yr jemathonical is right. If u buy steel bar, you suffer a 2.1k loss per steel plate (incl. nature rune used) Aah, you may also high alch monster drops, like mith sq, shield dropeed by ice giant during training Currently taking a break from Runescape
June 28, 200719 yr I would have to say that steel plates are the best smithing thing to alch, if and only if you mine the coal and iron yourself. Plus, you get the max exp. with a steel plate for steel smithing. As to your other question, yew longs are a very good thing to high alch, but to do this succesfully, you would have to be a member and fletch your own. But we are talking ftp here. ;) Go with steel plates. I made around 300 of them as a ftp but i mined 1500 iron and 3000 coal. That took a long time. My 2 cents.
