ive only played 8 months but id say that im already at stage 7.probably because im a player of games like everquest and world of warcraft that i knew how these games work.Runescape is in its crudest form so picked it up without leaving tutorial island .i trained my skills quicly knowing that id need them while still exploring the map.it took me a few months to learn my way round varrock and i still havent gone all teh way round lol.

i got to stage 8 i think 2 weeks after i started and then i was just bored but just can't stop playing

I am going to have to say that I am on number 3 right now.

I'm constantly hovering between 7 and 8 I think. I want to get my totals up and become a good all-round player, become that player that I admired when I was still a newbie, or when I entered the p2p worlds for the first time.

 

Though lately I've been getting a bit bored. My skills are al starting to enter the 50+ stages...when levelling becomes slower. And I also need to raise skills that I don't like. I've found myself standing in a bank, doing nothing.

 

Still, the urge to get my skills up remains present, so for now, I'm still finding fun things to do, or raise some skills I do like to train. But the feeling of being bored is still there sometimes. Though I think it'll stop again after a while, since I've been through these "phases" of boredom twice before, yet I still find myself playing now :)

I've been in 8 and 9 ever since Runescape 2 came out. I just hang around because I admire what Jagex did.

7, and sometimes people skip stages due to uncontrollable circumstances, such as parents forcing a 9 or the like.
