Randox
I think the idea is that all future holiday items will be non-tradeable. Did you mean another tradeable holiday item? No, i don't think theyll ever do that again.

Forgotenn00b
I'm not gonna lie here. Never say that again mate. In saying that you are implying that all you do is lie, which in gernal speaking is not a good thing, maybe think next time before you are going to type/say it. Thanks. yomom1919
Even if they did become tradable, they wouldn't have much value at all and would rise very, very slowly. So unless you are planning on playing 4+ years after they become tradable, you won't be getting much money for them [And by that time you would probably be a billionaire anyway.]

So unless you are planning on playing 4+ years after they become tradable, you won't be getting much money for them [And by that time you would probably be a billionaire anyway.]Santa hats were being sold for at least 100k on Christmas day (the day of the drop) which was the time Andrew realised people were misinterpreting the reason he was dropping holiday gifts around Runescape in the first place and henceforth they became untradable; starting with the bunny ears. History lesson aside, there will never be another tradable holiday item. Ever. "300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"

Conditions are nowhere near the same in todays runescape as back then, I won't go into detail; its easy enough to figure out where I'm coming from. Lady_Shahdie
Well since the question is "would they ever be more non-tradable holiday drops," the answer would be yes. Jagex might be trying to lessen the monoply that tradable holiday items were creating on the rare market by making the new holiday drops untradable. We honestly do not need another party-hat-like-400-mil rare/holiday drop to further engorge the rare market. Then again one could argue that the more quantities of rare items, the more the prices will drop (that is if the supply starts to extremely exceed demand). ~Retired 13-July-2010~Thanks for the great memories folks :). Star_Fox
in the long run, when rares begin to deplete maybe new branches of rares will be tradable. rares do help drain money from the riches.
