:) anyways... this is so true, but nowadays, the people involve with the government and into the economy realize that, people 15 1/2 and up can start get a working permit at least in my area of state. I think, on average, people treat losing stuff in runescape is a big thing for those addicts. In real life, its a harder impact. Its like being bankrupted and paying student loans (oh my gosh). <.<

No, I do not want to become a member, I would never be one, I will never be a member.

I disagree k, runescape is a game, life is life. Lets say u didnt lose that expensive runescape item, nothing really changes, you still play runescape, hooray for you. One day you quit and realise all that time on runescape was probably wasted. So it doesnt matter if you waste your time getting back an expensive item or if you waste your time doing some quest, your stil wasting your time. You can't do anything with runescape that will convert to something useful, even if u had that expenisve runescape item, wat would u do with it, trade it for another one? Unless of course you would trade it for real life money, but thats against runescapes rules anyways.. W/e play runescape, and remember its just a game, if your character dies then your character dies, don't get depressed over it, its a game! You shouldn't be too disapointed in losing an item in this game, if you do get very disapointed and it lasts a couple days, stop playing runescape cuz ur too addcited.

That is completely true, like how it is not the item you have lost it is the time and effort. But, it is partly what others place the items value as,

eg-rares

Such as, if you were there when party hats were dropped, then you have invested nearly no time or effort, but have reaped a large amount of value, becasue that is the value others have placed on that item.
